Oth- er family members who made preparations for this special occasion and were present were Claudia and Glenna Petersen, Susan Peterson. Visiting was enjoyed after the luncheon. Mrs. LaVerne Rigby of Newton was honored on Mothers Day to have her family members visit her. She also received many cards and gifts. The special sical number was a vocal solo "That Wonderful Mother of Mine" by Bruce Snow who was accompanied by Joyce Ballard. This very special meeting was enjoyed by a large crowd of ward members and visitors. In the Fourth Ward Sherman Lindhart of the bishopric was in charge of the ABA Activity Night. Mr. Carlyle Knudson was MC. Each block in the ward put on an act for a variety show. Refreshments were sold to a big crowd. It was a money making program to help send the young people to youth conference next summer.
