Show THURSDAY, State Lewiston Greets New Arrivals Sharp of Logan is a great grandmother of the twins. On Friday, Sept. 3 Scott and Cindy Sharp became parents of a baby girl. She will be named Jill and has a brother, Jeffery. Grandparents are Willis and Meda Sharp, Lewiston and Mr. and by Laree Bodily Lewiston Proudly announcing the arrival of their 20th great grandchild are Tom and visited the Hansen giand-parenin Ephraim. The boys and their father then arrived in Lewiston for a visit. The family returned to California last week. ts Katie Gittins. A son was born Aug. 25 to Shirley and Eldon Perry of Rexburg. The couple has another son, Scott Kee Perry. The new arrival will be named Steven Richard. James and Elvina Gittins of Rupert, Ida., and Mr. and Mrs. H. E Perry, Rexburg, are the grandparents. The Gittins family met at the Preston recreation park on Sunday for an annual social. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gittins and their family: James and Elvina Gittins and family, Rupert; Melvin and Verda Gittins and family, Ogden; Albert Gittins, Lewiston; Little Kristen Plowman ents include Mrs. Mildren Sharp and Mrs. Bertha Maughan, both of Logan, and Mrs. Eva Nielson, Hyrum. was born Aug. 28 at Riverside, Calif., where her family resides. Her parents are Boyd and Eldene Plowman, who have three other children. They are Terri, 10; Michael, 8, and Bobby, 5. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. L. Dean Dahle, Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Rex G. Plowman, Lewiston. A son was born to Grant and Carol Hansen, Sandy, Ut., Aug. 18. He is to be named Bradley. He has a brother, Robert, who celebrated his second birthday on Aug. 19. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Hansen, Las Cruces, N. M., and Mr. and Mrs. Rex G. Plowman, Lewiston, are the grandparents. Brent and Mary Lou Gordon are happy over the arrival of their fourth child on Sept. 2. Their new son will be named Steven Drew. His brothers are Spencer, and Shane and Shawn, who are twins. Mr. and Mrs. Ross H. Gordon are grandparents and Mrs. Ophelia Jepsen of Preston is a great grandmother. Guests of Alva and Bea Boman and family for three weeks are their daughter, Coralee and her seven week old girl, Lynda, of Bountiful. Coralees husband, Lynn Hill, is an auditor for the LDS Church and is presently working in that capacity in Japan and other Asian countries. He will return home Sept. 21. The 32nd wedding anniversary of Willis and Meda Sharp is one they will always remember. Twin grandsons' were born on that day, Sept. 6, 1976 to Roddy and LaNay Sharp of Salt Lake City. Brothers and sisters of the new babies are Sandor, Heather, Dustin and Amber. The Sharps stayed in Salt Lake City Sunday night and on al Gittins, Richmond; Leland and Ruth Gittins and children, Wellsville; Dora and Asel Boman and family, Layton; Annetta and Bert LaMont and family, Presn ton; Odean and LaVor and children. Smith-fieland Odell and Joy Gittins and family, Burley, Mc-can- d; Id. Also included were Mrs. Marshall Maughan, Wellsville. Great grandpar- San- dra and Larry Starkey, Nampa, Ida.; Leona and Douglas Christensen and child, Ogden; Vickie and Kirby Mosser, Layton; Jay and Colleen Gittins and fam- ily, Salt Lake City; and Larry and Leslie Gittins and their children, Hyrum. Since leaving the Logan hospital with her new baby daughter, Lana Mather and the baby have been spending several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reeder Karren. Lana and her husband, Robert Mather, welcomed their first child Aug. 31. The new arrival brings joy and happiness to her parents and to her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Mather, Smithfield and .Mr. and Mrs. Karren. Now back home in Sacramento, Calif., are Judy and Harold Hansen and their children who vacationed in Utah during August. Ten year old .Gina arrived three weeks earlier than others of her family and enjoyed thg lMpnday time with her grandparent!-- " "Heather -- Arriving Sunday at the airport in Salt Lake City, Becky Marler was met by her grandparents, Virgil and Alice Marler. The daughter of Lyman and Audrey Mar- ler of Kokomo, Ind., Becky will be enrolling again at BYU where she will study clothing design. She attend- ed classes their for the summer semester. Before getting settled into her apartment, Becky rode to Mapleton, Ut., with her grandparents to visit an uncle and aunt, Ike and Inid Harris. Alan and Patricia Harris and their two boys, Alan, Jr., six and Eric, three, have moved to Lewiston. They are living in the Verl Hendricks home at 35 West First South. Alan is employed at Presto Plastics. Pat is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rex G. Plowman, who are pleased to have the Harris family close by. Lorin and Ida Rogers recently visited friends in Green River, Wyo., for three grid Ddstiii home. with them to stayfor awhile. Mrs. Sharp is the former LaNay Kearns. Her parents and her grandmother live'in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mildred Mr. and Mrs. Reeder Kar- ren. Her mother, Judy, then came for ten days while Harold and the boys, Doug, 15, Don, 14, and Danny, 4,' Ilas sisters, Grace Cawley, flew in from Denver and stayed for three days. Then on Sunday they drove to Idaho Falls, where they visited their mother, ' Lena Ashliman. Erie and Ann McFarland and their daughters came from Lancaster, Calif., and spent five days with Ann's, mother, Mrs. Senath Thomson. The girls are Denece, Janet, Laura Ann and JoEl-le- Sandy; brought days. Later, n. Barb and Eva Waddoups drove to Twin Falls, Ida., last week to see their son, Don, who was recovering from major surgery. A few days later, Don and his daughter,' Nancy Burns,' of Denver ,Came to Spend Some' time with Mr. and Mrs. Waddoups. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Stocks were in attendance at the blessing and naming of their great granddaughter Sunday in New Harmony, Ut., near Cedar City. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Deon Kelsey was named Kimberly. Mr. and Mrs. Stocks were guests of their son, Clair Stocks and his family in Cedar City. The Clair Stocks are grandparents of Kimberly. On their way home Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Stocks stopped in Orem to visit their grandson. Jay Stocks, and his family. Melvin and 'Dorothy Gilbert and Ray and Carolyn Gilbert drove to Salt Lake City Thursday to attend funeral services for Charles L. Cottrell. Mr. Cottrell is the father of Jack Cottrell whose wife is the former Karla Gilbert. Verl Hendricks has moved to Logan where he will make his home. His son, Dennis, will be attending a trade tech school. Mr. and Mrs. Rex G. Plowman were in Sandy, Ut., Sunday for the blessing of their newest grandson. The son of Carol and Grant Hansen was named Bradley. Alan and Pat Harris and their boys, Alan, Jr., and Eric were also present for the occasion. Charlotte Singer, nine and her eight year old sister, Charlene, have come from Kayenta, Aria.. ay Indian placement students. They will live with Mrs. Calva VanDyke and her family. Mr. and Mrs.-Ta- ft Budge were entertained on the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary Thursday, Sept. 2 by their daughter, lone, and her family, the Kent Halls. Mrs. Halls grandmother, Mrs. Fred Price, and a sister, Ann Budge, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Budge. All are from Paris, Ida. Following supper, another sister of Mrs. Halls, Mrs. Dick Haycock and her children, came from Logan to join the group. Mr. and Mrs.. Rue Law- rence and their son,' David, spent Sunday and Monday at Bancroft, Ida., with their daughter and Ann and K. C. Lewis, and their children, Shane and' Lisa. Shane was celebrating' his fifth birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Nielsen and children, Amy and J. D., of Hyrum, joined the group on son-in-la- Monday. Mrs. Nielsen is the former Jody Lawrence. SEPT. Many relatives from out of town were present Sunday in the Lewiston Fourth ward when three new babies were blessed and named by their fathers. The babies were Brian Lindy Pitcher, son of Darwin and Nancy Pitcher; Natalie Jean Sorensen, daughter of Ralph and Jeanne .
