While they were in that city they attended a wedding reception for Farn's niece, Angela Weeks, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Weeks, Idaho Falls. Ernest and June Morrison drove to Price, Utah, for the wedding of their granddaughter, Shelly Shepherd. The daughter of Mrs. Tamers Lud, Park City, Utah, Shelly became the bride of Wayne Noyes Saturday evening, May 15. The ceremony was performed at an LDS Church in Price. A reception and dance followed. . On Friday Mr. snd Mrs. L. D. Bodily were in Salt Lake City for a reunion of missionary friends. All those who served under President William R. Sloan in the North Western States mission were invited.- They met in the conference room of the Aztec Apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hawkins visited Sunday with their last meeting until next fall. New officers were selected for the next year with Ada Kent as president and Norma C. Bodily as vice president. This was their Stoddard Receives Merit Award Darlene Homer Stoddard, Smithfield, received a merit award at the Third Anual Undergraduate Art Show at Utah State University. Mrs. Stoddard, a senior at USU, received the award for her tapestry entitled "La Equestrienne." The show opened at USU May 9 and will run through May 27 in the Library Gallery. Student works from all areas of the arts were judged by Alex Derata, professor of design and painting at Brigham Young University; Wayne Gledhill, director of the Salt Lake City Art Center; and Everett Thorpe, professor emeritus of art at USU. Club Listens To Records The Litra Lure Club met at the home of Lucy Forsgren with 12 members present ind two excused. There were also four guests present. The program planned for was unable to come so Mrs. Forsgren played records. Mark Seamons, who is blind, played the organ and piano. Several Mormon Tabernacle Choir numbers were played. He has four grandsons on missions. Mr. Riggs recalled the growth of Nibley. He was instrumental in separating Nibley from Millville and forming Nibley. He was the first mayor, serving several terms; he was on the cemetery board; he was water muter for Blacksmith Irrigation Company; wu on the Hyrum Stake old folks committee; wu instrumental in the Nibley town water system; was on the Hyrum nie, Genette and Karren. They live in Hyde Park; Helen, married to Merlend Hansen, with children, Dora Mae, Todd and Loralee, Nibley; Cloteel, married to Clyde Stewart and their children are Aziele, Frank Has- lem works on a part-tim- e basis at the Smlthfield store. Living in Franklin, Idaho, Craig is married to the former Janet Coltria and has two children. As part of their commemoration of the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood, the young men of the wart, and girls of corresponding age, participated in a clean-u- p day Saturday. Under the direction of their leaders, they walked over all the roads in Benson, picking up bottles, tin cans and other trash. Following this activity, they paddled canoes down the river from Ballards boat dock to the Benson Marina, where they were treated to hotdogs, drinks and ice cream. Barbara Watterson and her children, Paula, Jeff and Jason drove to Arizona last weekend to attend the wedding reception of her stater, Kami Barnett, daughter of Assigned Major Randy B. Jardine, a Utahn, has bun assigned to Hill AFB as a Titan missile reliability program manager. He is the son of Mrs. Loila Jardine of TOoele. Major Jardine received Ms B.S. degree in aeronautics from Utah State University in 1963 and a masters degree in management from Central Michigan University in The major has 18 years of service and has been assigned to Vietnam. Major Jardine is married to the former Sari L. Ezola, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ezola, Jr., of Trenton. They have three children. Mr. Riggs was bon May 11, 1886, a son of John and Cecelia Johnson Riggs. He married Dora Marie Winborg Sept. 9, 1914. She died Dec. 9, 1974.
