The public is invited to attend a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. and meet the artists, Donnalee Koenig, Paul Carter . and Sally George. A Pratt Institute graduate, Mrs. Koenig has shown in New York City, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, USU and Logan. Her work is in several private collections. A reception will be held that evening in the TTenton Ward cultural hall from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Carter received his degree in journalism from the University of Maryland, acquired photography skills in the Navy, worked on an Annapolis newspaper and has been with the Herald Journal for over three years. He has selected 25 prints of people from his news photos .for this, his first, public exhibi-- . tion. Mrs. George is a Michigan State College graduate in art. The AVA Gallery is located on the second floor of the Community Art Center, Third North and Fourth East in Logan. Gallery hours are weekdays, 1 to 5:30 p.m. Wedding Pianned Friday daughter, Debra Lin, to William T. (Bill) Bishop, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman W. Hassett, Ogden. The marriage ceremony will be solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. That evening the bride and groom will be honored at a reception at the Providence First Ward. Joy graduated magna cum laude in home economics education from Utah State University where she is currently working on a master's degree in management and consumer education. At USU she served as president of Alpha Lambda Delta honorary and as inter-chaptpresident of Lambda Delta Sigma sorority. She was named to Phi Upsilon Omi-croMortar Board and Phi Kappa Phi. Brent has brothers and sisters, Kenneth, Scott who is on an LDS mission to Thailand, Karen, Brian and Linda. He likes sports, especially basketball. He collects stamps- and coins and ties flies for fishing. He also plays the trumpet in the North Cache honor band. Club Meets The Richmond Ladies Literary Club met at the Library under the direction of President Rhonda Anderson. North Logan, announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathleen, to Ted Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cannon, Ted S. Perry. Kathleen is a 1974 graduate of Sky View High School and four year Seminary. She is presently majoring in home economics education at Utah State University. Ted graduated from Logan High School in 1970 and has also graduated from LDS Newton ward Relief Socity ward conference was held on Tuesday with LaWana Larsen, president, conducting. Visitors were Bishop Max Christiansen, Stake Presi-'deBlaine Rich, Stake Relief Society President Coy Manning, Counselor Kathryn Rasmussen, louiimmw Vera Pinson, Ruth Budge, Stake Leader, Ruby Woodward, Stake Homemaking Seminary and Institute. He filled a two year mission for the LDS Church to Japan. He has bachelor degrees in both nt mathematics and physics and is currently working on a master's degree in mathematics at USU. The wedding took place Wednesday in the Logan IDS Temple. After their honeymoon the couple will make their home in Logan where they will both continue their, educa- leader, Secretary RaNee Jorgenson and Ruth Buttars, Stake Mother Education Leader. Webb entertained her sisters at a family dinner on Saturday evening, March 6 in honor of her birthday anniversary. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Buttars, Mrs. Ida c. McCutcheon of Logan, Thomas of Maiad, Ida., Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Pearce of Sandy, Ut., Mrs. La-m- dard Spiritually, was spoken on by everyone. RaNee Jorgenson spoke on "A Mothers and Wifes Role." Bishop Max Christiansen spoke on drug abuse. A song was sung by the Relief Society chorus with Darlene Benson, chorister, Nola Jenkins, accompanist, and 17 chorus members, Donna Cooley, Joyce Benson, Mary Benson, Verla Summers, Daisy Larsen, Emma Michuciis of Garland and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Webb of Richmond. After the luncheon the group spent the evening reminiscing and visiting. Two other sisters, Mrs. Jane Rich of Nampa, Ida., and Mrs. Nell Steinback of Lynnwood, Wash., sent greetings and best wishes. Marriott, l Eunice Jones, Shirley Peterson, Barbara Goodsell, Norma Christiansen, Leda Sutherland, Belinda Howard, Mary Mullen, Maud Goodsell, Sue Peterson, Donna Christiansen and Peggy Salisbury. Marian Bischoff spoke and Coy Manning sang a solo. Mrs. Bishoff also spoke. Stake President Blaine Rich then spoke on repentance. Ward president Lawana Larsen also spoke. Newton ward sacrament meeting and ward conference was held with Bishop Max Christiansen conducting and Stake President Blaine Rich presiding. The Newton ward choir sang the opening song, with 22 ward members participating. Jay Goodsell sustained stake and ward officers. Bishop Max Christiansen spoke on increasing attendance in the ward, advised parents to teach children proper examples and gave the state of the ward message. Counselor of the stake, John Heggie spoke and the ward choir sang a special number. Stake counselor Dennis Funk commented on the Solemn Assembly held at the Loga Temple and on tithing.
