'Movies' Yours truly recently had the marvelous opportunity of taking her children to a theater to presumably watch a movie. I spent more money on treats than I did for the intitial cost of entering the lishment. 1 have found out that somehow a child's mouth controls it's body. If the mouth is full of cavity-enticin- g goodies, the legs don't move. Sometimes. So, in order for me to watch the movie, I had to stop their legs by filling them up with popcorn, pop, and other gravity defying weights. After the cartoon, the kids were ready to go home. Somehow, at today's prices, one cartoon just doesnt give me my moneys worth entertainment. of Finally, the movie begins, all the goodies Suddenly, the whispered conversation goes something like this: Mommy, I . . . Mr. Olney was born Nov. 8, 1901, in Smithfield, a son of Hyrum and Maude Millie Merrill Olney. Mona Moore Olney was born June 4, 1904, in Preston to William Robert and Ellen Ann Greaves Moore. . They have resided in Smithfield at 331 South 1st East most of their married life. For the bicentennial project, the club will work with the city officials on the completion of the citys street intersection markers. Existing markers will be repaired and repainted and some new ones will be added on the intersections where needed. This project will be directed by the attendance committee: Lions Milton Webb, L. G. Cartwright, Fred Amundsen, Joe Atkinson, Don Hum phries. The speaker for the occasion was Dr. William F. Lye from the faculty of Utah State University. He gave an informative talk on Africa. Colored slides were used showing some of the people, countryside, buildings, etc. A question and answer period followed the talk. Delbert Egan repented on the progress of the Birthday Calendar project. Committees were being organized and some districts had been visited.
