In fact I liked it so much Bob and I were married on Feb. 14 Who does? Their I'll never forget it. wedding day, I mean. Some do, but I make sure Bob never forgets even if he'd like to. Just kidding. Anyway, on our return trip from Salt Lake, it was snowing a blizzard. We had a flat tire, the speedometer gauge slid down to 110 and stayed there (we weren't going that fast). The heater broke, blowing in freezing air, and on top of all that the windshield wipers wouldn't work. Bob drove in the emergency lane of the highway all the way back home. Every few miles he would have to get out of the car, wipe off the windshield with his hand and we proceeded homeward bound. Point of story. We had taken Bobs old red truck because we didnt want to have to worry about car trouble. Of course, back then Valentines Day meant hearts and flowers. Now it means heart-shape- d cookies, sticky fingers from putting candy on the frosted cookies and screams of, I want to do that! Handmade Valentines dripping with glue still hold a place in any gal's heart even if she did most of the cutting and the pasting helping make her surprise. Although Bob doesnt get as excited about "Those Special Days as I do the kids have caught most of my enthusiasm. Sunday morning while we were reading the paper, the kids came into the room. In Bret's hand was a bowl of pennies, nickles and dimes. Here, he said, handing the bowl to me.
