In winning the trophy, Mr. Churchills matmen also qualified 11 of 12 wrestlers for the state finals. Three' Cats won their respective divisions. Jim Loveland copped honors, Ed Hurst took the class, and defending champion Kent Burton successfully defended his crown in the 105-pou- nd 185-pou- nd 126-pou- nd class. Deno Blau, Craig Pickett, Nolan Maughan, Mike Bankhead and Doug Wood-hea- d nabbed second-plac- e finishes.
