Show THURSDAY, JULY World Lewiston All advertising Baby Shower Given By Laree Bodily The Leslie Weeks home was the setting Saturday for a baby shower given for Mrs. Lyle (Norma) Braegger of Logan. Hostesses for the occasion were Rhea Walton of Plain City and Helen Johnson of Logan. Others present were Doris Weeks, Carolyn Weeks, Beverly Coleman and Kim Weeks, all of Lewiston; Mrs. Kenneth Braegger, Logan; Lana Barlow, Bountiful; Violet Weeks and Betty Weeks, Preston; Evelyn Weeks, Dayton; Sue Weeks, Fairview; Eliza Bingelli, Western and Ethel Bench, Clearfield. The new mother-to-b- e received lovely and useful gifts for the expected little one. Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Rawlings and four of their children drove to Calais, Maine via Detroit and through Canada to meet their son, Jed, as he was released from the New England mission. During their two week trip they visited many places of interest, including the Joseph Smith birthplace at Sharon, N. Y., the Hill Cumorah, the Kirtland Temple, Nauvoo, Liberty Jail visitors center and Independence, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Gibbons 'and family were visiting this past week with Mr. and Mrs. H. Ray Gibbons. Mr. and Mrs. Burke Bodily and daughter, Angela, have returned to their home in Inglewood, Calif., following a ten day vacation in Cache Valley. They were .guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Bodily and Rozanne. Mrs. Stuart (Meridee) Hatch and three boys were also guests of her parents during the week. Stuart came for the weekend. Others who spent the Fourth of July with the Bodilys were Mr. and Mrs. Barry Bodily and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bodily, Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Reo Alder .and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Alder and their families and Mrs. Edgar Alder, Preston; Julie Reese, South San Gabriel, Calif.; Kim Braegger, Providence; Tashio Aoki, Chiba, Japan and Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily and family. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Westover had all their family home for the holiday week. Lewis and Diana Westover and children came from Glendale, Ariz., and Ernest and Fran Westover and family from Davis, Calif. They were joined by Craig and Barbara Westover and Del and Joycelyn Tarbet and their families all of Lewiston. Lewis and Ernest drove to Yellowstone Park for two days during the week. On Friday the group met with the Marcus Westover family at Willow Flat for a reunion. Carolyn and Allen Hildt and family, Janet and Bruce Galbraith and children, David Westover, his wife and children, all of southern California and Steven and Jeannie Westover and family of Gooding, Ida., were guests throughout the week at the home of their father, Marcus Westover. Wayne and Carma Noble are happy grandparents again. A little girl was born on July 3 to their daughter, Susan, and her husband, Ricky Law of Smith-fielThe Laws also have a young son. Mrs. Marva Buttars is proud to report another grandchild, a son born to Rex and Sharee Hillyard of Smithfield July 1. The new one will be named Ryan Wendell. He has an older sister and the other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Hillyard, Smithfield. Mrs. Lee Pond joined with the D. D. Hyer family on July 4 at the summer home in Mink Creek of Mr. and Mrs. Conard Facer of Lompoc, Calif. On Sunday Mrsi Pond's guests were Sid and Winifred Hendricks of Denver and Jack and Louise Hickenloopcr of Preston. Dr. and Mrs. Dale Hyer and children of Las Vegas were guests for three days during the week. . Mr. and Mrs. El Ray Robinson and family were happy to have as their guests for a few days last week the Ronald Merchant family of Spokane, Wash. Mrs. Betty Kirk, Sherman, Stephen, Susie and Stephanie, enjoyed visiting Mrs. Kirk's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice D. Smith in Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Kirks grandmother, Shirley P. Kimball in El Cerrito, Calif. Mrs. Kirk's brother and sister-in-laSherman and Smith and Kaye son, Barry, came from Los Angeles and the families enjoyed visiting and sightseeing in San Francisco. The Kirks were gone two weeks. Mrs. Betsy Swenson and children have moved to Malms tram Air Force Base, near Great Falls, Mont., to be with their husband and father, Major. William A. Swenson. Another son, Allan, is living with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Swenson in Nibley. He will attend Utah State University this fall. Gary and Ilene Crooks ton and daughter, Lisa, welcomed a baby daughter Friday at the LDS hospital. Grandparents are Mrs. Faye Roskelley of Smith-fiel- d and George and Virginia Crookston of Logan. William and Adelaide Baylor and sons, Michael and Frank, have moved into their rtew home at 41 North 42S East. The Baylors moved from Downing-toPa., near Philadelphia. Mr. Baylor is the new area manager of maintenance for Pepperidge n, Farm. Miss Stephanie Kirk was released Sunday as a Sunday School teacher to make preparations for her wedding in October. William and Jeanne DeJos-ep- h, formerly of Sandy Hook, Conn., near Bridgeport, have moved into their new home at 9 North 376 East. Mr. DeJoseph is manager of operations here for Pepperidge Farm. July 4 the Kirkbride family reunion was held in the Ida., Canyon. Among those attending were Vera and Don Pinson and Patty, Mrs. Pinsons 11 brothers and sisters and the Pinson children and n, their spouses. They were Bonnie and Alma Winward and family of Corvallis, Ore., Kathleen and Ronald Rasmussen and family of Pocatello, Addie and Paul Smith and family of Bountiful and Quin and Janet Pinson of Smithfield. Games were played and a smorgasbord dinner enjoyed. Mrs. Nora Richards spent' four days with her son and Ted and Gwen daughter-in-laRichards and family in Bountiful. A grandson, Steve, accompanied her home. l oin and Myrtle Rew and two children have moved into an apartment at 63 South 3rd East from Salt Lake City.
