Show T T ) 1 1 CACHE CITIZEN THURSDAY APRIL 26, 1973 Princesses To Be Chosen Lewiston Second Ward Choir Presents Cantata family of Logan, were Saturday by Laree Bodily A cantata, Redemption's Song", by Fred B. Holton, was presented Sunday evening in the Lewiston Second Ward sacrament meeting by the ward choir. Soloists were Blanche Marler, Neva Pitcher, Kaye Labrum, Duane Labrum, Elton Fackrell, Leon Spackman, Ruth Rawlings, Verden Dent, and duet was sung by Amy Gibbons and Norma Bodily. Karla Rawlings is the director of the choir and the organists are Myrtha K. Westover and Rex C. Spackman. There were many people from out of town who attended the services to hear the can- tata. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Weeks and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Weeks attended funeral services Tuesday, in the Treasure ton L.D.S. Ward Chapel, for Mr. Alfred Cole, 75, who died at the home qf a sister in Idaho Falls. Mrs. j.L. (Alice) Weeks is a sister of the deaceased. ; Morris Jackson, who returned in March from his L.D.S. ipission to Denmark has just spent two weeks in Texas visiting his sister Bertha and 'tier family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dies. While there Morris baptized his little niece. jMrs. Aleda Mitchell and children of Brigham City enjoyed the Easter weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Den-z- il Talbot, her parents. )Mr. and Mrs. Gary Johnson have purchased the home of the late Wayne Wiser. 'President and Mrs. Rex G. Plowman returned recently from Jacksonville, North Carolina, where they visited for a; week with their and daughter, Lt. and Mrs. Alan (Patricia) Harris and family. New little Eric David Harris got acquainted with his grandparents during their stay. The Plowmans stopped for a day of sightseeing in Washington, D.C. .Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Karren and children of Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Dee Karren and son-in-la- w I Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Sheral Karren and children came to spend the day. Mrs. Marva Buttars and son, Craig, were Easter guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eric (Marsha) Mattson and sons, at their home in Paris, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wiser entertained Mrs. Jessie Gilbert and her son, Ralph, of Salt Lake City for Easter. Mrs. Gilbert is Mrs. Wisers mother. Also enjoying the day there were Mr. and Mrs. Todd (LuAnn) Jensen of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly ( Marilee) Spackman and children, Lewiston, and the members of the family, Larry, Danny and Nanette. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Wiser of Salt Lake City spent Saturday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wiser. Willis and Meda Sharp had most of their children home for Easter dinner. The only ones not able to be here were their son, Roddy and family of Denver. Douglas and Kathy Dameron and sons of Idaho Falls, Idaho were Easter Sunday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oral Layne. Emerett Wiser has returned to her home in Lewiston following three months travel. She was in Sacramento, California for seven weeks with a and daughter, A.T. and Louise Kiholm; at Inglewood, California with her son, Cordell and family for two weeks; with her daughter, Maxine and family, the Charles Cummings at Kearns Canyon, Arizona for two weeks; and with Wendell and his family for a week in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As Mrs. Wiser was returning to Cache at-ho- son-in-la- w Valley, she visited other children and their families: C.L. and Cara Lou Vance in Salt Lake City, Farrell and Nadine Wiser in Centerville and G.L. and Maretta Livingston at Clearfield. She was not able to visit her daughter, Shirley at San Diego, California. and Mrs. Bardo Bodily and family. Mrs. Pauline Swapp and children at Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Van Dyke of Logan spent Sunday with the Don Van Dyke family. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen and baby of Ogden were Easter guests of Barbaras parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Austin. The McKay Rawlings family hosted Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Rawlings of Lewiston and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Kendell of Cornish Sunday. They attended Eastern countries at the Smithfield American Legion Auxiliary meeting at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Legion Home.
