Show $ I Thursday Dec. 7, Smithfield Fourth Ward by Harriet Noble Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Meyer and family spent part of last week in Saugus, California visiting the Richard Keysor family. While on their trip they visited Hoover Dam, Disneyland and enjoyed the beach in Santa Monica. Mrs. Keysor is the former Arlene Meyer of Smithfield 4th Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lower had as their guests last weekend. Their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. (Julie) Wayne Samsel and sons of Loveland, Colorado. They also visited Waynes parents Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Samsel of Cornish. Mr. and Mrs. A then Reese spent three days last week in Salt Lake where Mrs. Reese attended a Seminar conducted by Bishop and Mrs. Frank The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Von J. Elcock was blessed and given the name of Emerson Davis Elcock last Sunday. Out of town guests who were present were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Elcock and Mrs. Pearl Davis of Malad, Larry Elcock of Logan, Mrs. Curt Elcock of Provo, Mrs. Carol Davis and J. Claire Davis of Roy, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Johnson were visited recently by Tidwell and their two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Johnson of Nibley and Mrs. Joe Jacobson of Logan and Mrs. Sarah Brown of Wellsville, left early Tuesday morning to bid farewell to Elder Robert Brown who left for the Florida Spanish Mission. Elder Brown has spent the past two months in the Mission School at B.Y.U. The missionary is a grandson of the Tidwells and Mrs. Brown. Miss Helen Heaps of Granger and her sister Mrs. Jean Wood and two children of Liberty, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orrie Heaps over the Miss Heaps is weekend. teaching at the Union Junior High School in Granger. He participated in football, basketball and track in high school arid was a three year letterman in each sport.
