Wiser and family drove to the Salt Lake Airport Friday to meet their husband and father, who was returning from two weeks at Ft. Lee, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Frell Blair spent the weekend in Lewiston at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rosamond Blair. While here, they attended the William A. Blair family reunion which was held in Willow Park in Logan on Sunday. Others attending from Lewiston were Mr. and Mrs. Rosamond Blair, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blair, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Blair and lunch was family. Mrs. Lee Pond and Mrs. Anona Talbot spent the weekend in West Yellowstone as guests of Mrs. Genevieve Facer who was celebrating her birthno-ho- st day anniversary. The descendents of the Eliza Jane Waddoups branch of the William Waddoups family met for a reunion at the Franklin Park on Saturday. A meeting was held and genealogy of the group was discussed. Another daughter, Mrs.. Blaine Robinson of Pocatello could not be in attendance because her son was returning from a mission in Australia. The family of Mr. and Mrs. C. Russ Layne met on Monday at Twin Lakes for a family reunion. Mrs. Ada Bailey CLIFTON is rejoicing over the arrival of a new grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Lester Owen of Glendale. Mrs. Bailey had the two girls, Darlene and Ilene, for a couple of days while their mother was in the hospital. She took them home Saturday and on the way she picked up Mrs. Owen and new baby at the hospital and took her home. Mrs. John Porter and Julie spent the weekend in Burley visiting her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. DeMar Henderson and children. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keller of Pocatello visited Sunday with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Woods. Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Rice of Monmouth, Ore., spent the week with his mother, Mrs. Myra Rice, and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rice, and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wood. David Moser was honored at a birthday dinner on his 83rd anniversary Sunday, Aug. 13, at the home of his (laughter and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cazier, Preston. There was a birthday cake and gifts, among which was a new harmonica, which he loves to play. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miles, Mr. and Mrs. David E. Miles and family, all of Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Moser, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Moser and family and the Allen L. Moser family, Pocatello; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Golightly and family, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cazier and family and the John Schvaneveldt family, Preston. Mr. .Moser has seven living children, 27 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Butler, Mr. and Mrs. Sociable Citizen Grandson Born By Mrs. Ada Bailey The Lewiston Fourth ward held their annual summer party on Tuesday night at the park under the direction of the bishopric, with Bishop Garr Morrison conducting. Prayers were by M. C. Gilbert and Rex Plowman. Lunch, under the direction of the Relief Society, was served to approximately 250. There was no program, but prizes were awarded for different things such as the person with the longest hair, the lady with the most freckles, the lady and man who whistled the loudest, the parents having the most teenagers at home, the youngest child present, etc. Guests at the home of Mrs. Nora Layne in Lewiston during the past week were her children, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Layne of Hyde Park, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Layne and daughter of Whitehall, Mont., Mrs. Sliene Jensen of Cove and son Sid and his baby, Dave of Rexburg. in the Lewiston Changes Fourth ward Relief Society were made on Sunday in sacrament meeting. Mrs. Zola Allen and Mrs. Benita Smith were released as homemaking leaders, and Mrs. Olive Bowcutt and Mrs. Ida Kemp were sustained to take their place. Trophies were awarded to the ladies teams for their participation in softball games. TRENTON Elder Gary Ballam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oral L. Ballam of Smithfield, who recently returned from the French-Swis- s mission, talked in sacrament meeting and spoke of conditions in the mission field. They visited the Black Hills and surrounding areas. In Butte, Mont., they attended the horse races for two days and came home by way of Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Keiser and children visited recently with her mother, Mrs. Helena Andrew. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Spack-ma- n drove to Centerville Friday to see her brother, Lawrence Cottle and family. Word was received Friday by Mr. and Mrs. Julius P. Jensen of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. William Jensen of Amalga in the Logan hospital. This is the first child for the couple. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mathys of Logan. The baby is the 12th grandchild for the Jensens and the second for the Mathys. Lennis and Sid Williams, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Williams of Ogden, are visitors at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Marriott. r.
