C., Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vacher of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. LaGrand Smith and son of Logan, Bobby Jo Carpenter of Lyman, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Terry Smith and son and Mrs. Jane Smith of Grace. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon went to Salt Lake City last Saturday to the airport to meet their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Courtney McGregor and son Wade, of New Jersey. They will spend several weeks here with his parents. Guide Patrol boys from Thatcher Primary, who went to Georgetown last week to the Guide Patrol Day Camp were Todd Mendenhall, Roger Forsgren, Lynn Hansen, Rocky Ruud, Eldean Wheeler, Scott ' Elsmore and Smith. The boys were accompanied by their leader, Mrs. Katherine Millward. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Anderson returned home last weekend after spending a week in Seattle visiting with their son Rex and family. They were accompanied by their daughter and husband, Mr. ' and Mrs. Kent Reed of Sandy, Ut. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Good-se- ll and family and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bennett attended a golden wedding open house for Mr. and Mrs. Orville Talbot last Saturday evening at the Winder ward cultural hall. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Funk of Las Vegas, Nev., were overnight guests at the home of Mr. ami Mrs. Gene Millward Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Larkin of Florida visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Millen Mendenhall. Mr. and Mrs. William Wile liams and Mr. and Mrs. Kendall went to Salt Lake City Tuesday last week to see their nephew, Garth Daniels, leave for his mission. He will go to Arizona and will work with Navaho Indians. They also attended the graduation for Mr. and Mrs. Browns daughter from Columbus University and also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Swensen and family in Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Dunham of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Clara Turner of Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Dim Wilbert of Bountiful, Utah, also spent the weekend with the Hansens. Mr. Harris Stephenson and Mrs. Sheldon Kendall and children visited in Preston last Saturday with Mrs. Naomi Sanders. Mr. and Mrs. Don Mendenhall and family of Phoenix, Ariz., have been visiting relatives in the area and also went to Rexbuig to get their daughter Dawn, who has been attending school there. The school board was at the Thatcher school Monday afternoon last week to go over the repairs that need to be done for next school term.
