Wilson of Richmond captured the title of Cache Rodeo Queen Saturday evening from a field of 16 contestants. Trials for the title were a colorful oldimax to g Horse Show, the the second event of the 56th annual Richmond Black and White Days. Jaylene Nelson of NiMey, daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson, is first attendant; Kristi Larsen, Logan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ross second attendant, Larsen, and Diane Bassett, Wells-villdaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dee W. Bassett, is alternate. Doug and Maxine Haws of Afton, Wyo., judged the fdiow. Doug was recently to the office of president of the Ward Champion Cutter Racing Association. He and his wife and son participate in Quarter Ilorse Shows and other riding events. Donating gifts for the queen and attendants were Grand Central, Virginia's Western Shop, Smltoifield Implement, Cache Valley Girls' Rodeo Association, Gepharts, and Jenson and Sons Saddlery. The queen and her attendants will represent Cache county in parades and rodeo day-lon- e, everits and will be featured at the annual Cadhe County Fair and Rodeo. Recipients included Steven e and Stanley Bair, Calvin and Alan Gibbons. Steven and Stan are the twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Quinn Bair of Lewiston. They have been actively engaged in working the family farm and this summer they will have full responsibility cf the farm work. Calvin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Currently a student at Carbon Junior College in Price, lie has been on the winter honor roil. He has played basketball on three commercial teams. He just recently received a call to foe mission in Quebec, Canada, lie is also a Life scout, lie is a graduate of North Cache Junior high school and Sky View high school where he played in state basketball tournaments both his junior and senior year. He was a member of the Front Porch Majority and school chorus. In his ward he was active in his priesthood quorum. Alan is the son of Mr. and Llrs. Don Gibbons of Lewiston. He is a graduate of North Cache Junior high school and a student at Sky View. He has been active in his ward and priesthood groups and is involved in farming with his father on the family farm. Myler of Cornish, has been announced ns the recipient of a four year graduate fellowship at Indiana University at Bloomington, in the field of Spanish. When completed, Giadc will receive his PhD. Glade is a graduate of the Lewiston Junior high school where he received recognition for his scholastic achievements. He is also a graduate of Sky View high school where he served os business manager of the yearbook. He was also an honor student. He wlU receive his B.A. degree' from Utah State University' in June in Spanish and Fine Arts. In June 1970 he married Carolyn Morgan of Brookfield, 111., who is also a graduate of Utah Slate University and currently doing graduate work in home economics.
