They had dinner and visited. Mr. and Mrs. Milo Smart and baby of Provo are visiting with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Sant. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Halverson of Roy were Sunday visitors at her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Lew McDermott, for dinner and visiting. Attending were Mrs. Irene Godfrey, Mrs. Jean Marie Smith, Mrs. Maxine Mrs. Evelyn Fisher, Mrs. Ada Jepsen and Mrs. Helena Page. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sant had their son David and his wife and baby of Logan as their Thanksgiving dinner guests. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bailey and three children spent Saturday with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Pov-e-y and family and his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Povey, drove to Liberty, Ida., and spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Zed Griffiths and family. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Povey were surprised last Monday when their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Vicky) McGrath and new baby girl arrived from Regina, Canada to spend a couple of weeks with them. The people in Clifton were saddened Monday morning by the death of one of their Win-war- d, and Mrs. Garold Fisher Sunday. Mrs. Charles Bailey brought her husband home from the afterhospital Wednesday noon. He is improving. Mrs. Marguerite Henderson enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Henderson, in Dayton. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher McDermott were in Bountiful for Thanksgiving dinner with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gould. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Vance Walker and family. They returned home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lewis had some of their family at home for Thanksgiving, Mr. and Mrs. Tyrone Lewis of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burt of Logan, and also Deans parents, Mr. and rament meeting. Steven Porter of Franklin, who recently returned home from his mission, was the speaker at sacrament meeting. A vocal solo was sung by Miss Karen Porter, accompanied by Barbara Porter. The six girls spent two days of their Thanksgiving vacation in Salt Lake with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Haworth were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Goff in Preston. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Haworth in Franklin were their children, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Haworth and family of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haworth and family and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Haworth, all of Franklin. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dun-an- t of Parma, Ida., visited with relatives in Franklin prior to their leaving for a mission with headquarters in Virginia and North Carolina. They spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Durrant and family of Lewiston. On Thanksgiving eve, visiting and ice cream were enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Durrant in Lewiston for the brothers and sisters of Leon who live in the area.
