They also went to Seattle, Vancouver, B. C., and Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Christensen of Iona, Idaho were visiting a few days last week with the Robert Hendersons. Miss Nancy Choules took her grandmother, Mrs. C. R. Choules, to Holbrook Thursday to visit with a cousin, Mrs. Joel Smith. Mrs. W. K. Phippen and Mrs. Roy Sorenson of Preston called on Mrs. Nell Hansen Aug. 6 as it was her birthday anniversary. Last Monday, Mrs. Glen Jensen of Brigham City spent the day with her. Thursday caller at the Hansen home was Mrs. Claude Keller of Mink Creek, and Friday her son, ' Paul Hansen of Grace, called on his mother. ' ' On Aug. 9 Mrs. Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Marve Packer and four daughters attended the Hansen reunion at Crystal Springs near Brigham City. There were 75 present. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Packer had their daughter, Mrs. Judy Edgar and children, Tes-si- e and R. B., visiting them last week. They are ' from Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight (Brenda) Rawlings of Logan wel- a comed their first child, sev- en ounce son, born in the Logan hospital July 29. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rex Packer and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rawlings of Fair-vie- w and the baby is their first grandchild. He will be named Roger Dee. Mrs. Packer was with her daughter and family for a few days when she came home from the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Edwards of Twin Falls and children called on Mrs. Milo Woolf one day recently. Saturday overnight a sister, Mrs. Ada Sharp of Granger, stayed with Mrs. Woolf. The Riverdale and Mink Creek Relief Society met together Tuesday in the Riverdale Relief Society room. R. Lloyd Bybee of Pocatello demonstrated ways of food storage and told them about different food items. A dessert luncheon was served to 46. Mr. and Mrs. James Woolf see Mrs. Woolfs great grand- ' Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Long and family were in Cheyenne, Wyo., over the July 24 weekend and attended the Cheyenne rodeo. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Long and family. Miss Ann Kenney of Cedar City was a house guest at the Long home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hull and baby Kimberley of Seattle are here for a few weeks visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland IIulL Last week at the Hull home were Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Norton of Bell Gardens, Calif., as their guests. A recent visitor of Mrs. Hull were her sister, Mrs. Russell Lower and son Brent of Smithfield. Last Friday night at 11:30 our time, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hull and all their family who were home, called Hamilton, New Zealand and talked with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Dan-siIt was 5 a.m., their time, and the call took only five minutes to complete. The conversation was very clear. They are having winter weather there. e. went to Logan last Friday to child, a son born to Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson. Before returning home they also visited with her sister and hus' band, Mr. and Mrs. Ilazen and had dinner Spackman, with them. Franklin Group Takes Trip FRANKLIN Mr. and Mrs. Verl Smith and family, Brad, Mrs. Verlene Rogerson, Linda, and Hal enjoyed a weeks vacation. They spent one night in Las Vegas, and then went to Disnyland and up the coast to San Francisco and to Lake Tahoe. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cole enjoyed a visit with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Cole and family in Corvallis, Ore. They enjoyed going to the country club where they had dinner. They went to the ocean, and they, as a family, ' enjoyed mothers celebrating their birthday. Sam Ilandy, who had spent three weeks visithome with ing, returned them. Mrs. Joyce Buttars is happy over the arrival of a new granddaughter, born to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burton of Logan. This is the Burtons first child. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Legrande Burton of Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Max Clarke of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Delore Albiston of Franklin enjoyed three days at the Biackfoot Reservoir fishing. Spending the weekend with Mrs. Ruby Dunkley were her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jensen and daughter of Clearfield. Also visiting Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dunkley of Roy. Visiting Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Delore Albiston were some friends, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Burbank of Brigham. Mr. and Mrs. Perc Gibson are happy to announce the arrival of a new baby boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Geddes of Idaho Falls. This is the first boy for the parents. Two sisters greet the new baby. Jack Coltrin drove to Santa Ana, Calif., where he visited his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hogebaum and four children. Mr. Coltrins other two daughters, Janice and Debbie, have been vacationing with their sister. While there they all enjoyed a game between California Angels and the New York Yankees. Janice accompanied her father home. Happy over the arrival of were a new granddaughter Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hampton. The baby was born to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen of Mink Creek.
