Show Clifton Ward Plans Reunion CLIFTON The Oxford- - Mr. Feb. 1 and Mrs. Reed Smith of War-hel- the children and Saturday at 1 o clock for adults. Mrs. Lew McDermott arrived home Tuesday from the Logan Hospital where she underwent back surgery 10 days ago. Mr. and Mrs. Grant n of Boise came Friday and brought her mother, Mrs. Bertie Winward, home with them. ' She bad been visiting them the past week. On Feb. 15, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Croshaw of Bountiful and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Davis drove to Jackson, Wyo., to visit Mr. and Mrs. Vance Pope. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kubulck and two children of Tooele spent the weekend with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wardell. They left their two children to visit their grandparents for a week. Mrs. Marguerite Henderson received word Wednesday of Mor-tense- the arrival of her fifth great grandchild. Mrs. Marguerite Henderson is spending a few days in Preston with Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Kellers children while they are away on a trip. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lew McDermott this week were her sister-in-laMrs. Ella Ward of Riverside, Ut., her daughter, Mrs. Norma Bosworth and daughter Susette of Preston, Leatha Smith of Preston and her daughter, Mrs. Sharlene Wise of Roy, and Mr. and Mrs. Theo Larson of Black-foo- Mr. and Mrs. Fisher McDermott and children drove to Preston Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Brent Wheeler and have dinner with them. The Cub Scouts held their Gold and Blue banquet Thursday night with nearly all the cubs and their parents attending. Nord Westover was emcee. He is the cubmaster. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Henderson represented the bishopric. A was candlelight ceremony held. Badges were awarded and Neil Gailey was given a three year plaque for being service den chief to Den 4. Chicken supper was enjoyed. Den Mothers are Doris Jensen and Anna McDermott, On display were the genius kits the boys had made. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jensen of Ogden visited Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Marguerite Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bailey drove to Pocatello Sunday to visit their sons, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bailey and children and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bailey. Also visiting them were Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bailey of Layton. Dinner was enjoyed by all at Larrys home. Fifteen couples enjoyed the outing. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Johnson and son Shawn spent nine days vacationing. They enjoyed a boat tour at Santiago, Calif. They also spent some time in Old Mexico. While there they visited Puerto, Fenasco. They spent some time in Las Vegas, Nev. A special program was held Tuesday night at the River-dal- e Chapel commemorating 100 years of YWMIA, honor' ing the past presidents. A program and refreshments were enjoyed by the group. Carnations were presented to the past presidents. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard of Soda Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Paskins drove to Overton, Nev., Sunday. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gene Paskins who are spending the winter months at Overton. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Paskins accompanied them to Las Vegas, Nev., and Death Valley, Calif. On their way home they visited Hoover Dam and other points of interest. They returned home the following Sunday.
