Future Homemakers Take Tour Of Factories In The Area The Preston High Chapter, Future Homemakers of went on a field trip this week to plants and factories in this area. They first were conducted on a tour of the Logan Knitting mills and saw how knits and double knits are made by machines. They also saw a machine make bound buttonholes in a matter of seconds. The girls next went to the Jensen Candy Factory where Mr. and Mrs. Jensen demonstrated how they put stripes on and make candy canes. Next on the schedule was a visit to the Hollvwood Beautv School where they were given an iuusiraiea lecture on the training given to cosmctolo- gists, After lunch the girls were given a conducted tour of the Owens-Cornin- g s, one-thir- I Ski Whiz One ride is worth a thousand words.
