Show THE CITIZEN Feb. 27, 1969 Serviceman Home On Leave Relative Killed In Wyoming WHITNEY Mrs. Barlow H. (Aldene) Call and son Glen of Alton, Wyo., were Wednesday guests of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Alton E. Larsen. Many people here remember Mrs. Call. Her husband, Barlow H. Call, operated a flying service in Wyoming and on Sept. 16 of last year, he and a son Glen, age 21, were operating a plane service in Wyoming when the plane crashed and the father was killed instantly and Glen was severely injured and is still recuperating. Then on Jan. 30 of this year, another son, Barlow Dean Call, age 24, accompanied by a government trapper, Eugene was making a plane trip over Wyoming trying to spot coyotes when the plane crashed. Mr. Call died in the crash and Mr. Slagouski survived but received serious back and foot injuries, facial lacerations and suffered severe frost bite. They were not found until the next day o in weather. Funeral services for Mr. Call were held in Evanston on Feb. 2. Linda Weaver spent the weekend in Logan visiting friends. They also visited while there with her brother, Cleo Chadwick and fam- Ar-le- nd RIVERDALE Third class petty officer, Jeff Newbold, of the Seabees and son of Mr. and Mrs. Reo Newbold, came home Friday on a short leave to get his car and drive back to Port Hueneme, Calif., where he will attend school as an equipment operator for the next 12 weeks.
