Show The Sociable Citizen Miss Cleda Auger has returned to Rexburg to resume her teaching position in the Home Economics department at Ricks College after visiting her parents, the Leland Augers, for several weeks. She has spent the past year in the east where she worked with the R. T. French Food Co., at Rochester, N. Y., developing x diviproducts in the sion, with both retail and institutional products, and did sensory testing and evaluation of ingredients. She also spent some time this summer doing the same type of work with the II. J. Heinz Co., at Pittsburg, Pa. Before returning home, she made an extensive tour of eastern states and coldry-mi- leges. The Whitney Variety club had a dinner party at the recreation park of the ward Tuesday evening. Covers were placed for 11. Genial sociability around the fireplace completed the evening. ss Local employes and partners of the U. S. Forest Service entertained at a dinner party for Kent C. Howell at the Pop 'n Pins dining room Friday evening. Fall flowers added a seasonable atmosphere to the event with genial sociability and gift giving as added features. Mr. Howell has accepted employment with the Phillips Oil Company after having worked with the Forest Service the past eight seasons.
