They were Mr. and Mrs. DeVirle Christensen and two children of Lewiston, and their daughter Verneal and her daughter from Salt Lake. She plans to spend a week with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Baird and family of Ogden spent the holidays at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baird. Mrs. Muriel Nye and Mrs. Jeannie Titus and three children of Clearfield visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Jensen Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Jensen and family and Don Jensen and friend, Carol Olson of Logan, went to Mountain Home Sunday to visit their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Taylor. Lt. and Mrs. Nate Olson arrived Tuesday from Sacramento to be with his family, Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Olson, for some special occasions. Tuesday they attended the graduation exercises in Preston where Jeff Olson was a graduate. Friday they went to the Logan temple where his sister, RaNae, and Douglas Mellor were married. A reception in their honor was held in the Mink Creek cultural hall that evening. Saturday night they attended an open house in Granger for the newlyweds. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Jensen of Preston spent Wednesday painting and cleaning their home here. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Parker of Liberty called on them during the day. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Keller spent several days visiting in Salt Lake last week. They were overnight guests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Keller and Mrs. Orpha Campbell. On their way home they visited in Roy with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blakeslee. Schomas and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ray of Provo visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christensen Thursday. That evening they all went to Provo. Friday they attended the BYU graduation exercises where Rhonda Schomas, daughter of the Christensens, was a graduate. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christensen visited with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Barton, in Provo Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Rigby and family of Bountiful were visitors here on Memorial day. Mrs. Truman Rigby and Mrs. Jack Rigby of Montpelier visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Keller Thursday. Jewel Christensen, former Mink Creek resident, arrived last week from his home in Germany. He is visiting with his brothers and their families, Allen, Carl and Lloyd Christensen, and his mother, Mrs. Serena Christensen, who lives with her daughter, Mrs. Bernus Meacham, in Pocatello. He works for an insurance company in Germany. His wife and two children did not accompany him. He expects to be here for a month.
