Due to an electric short in the cooling system of a milk tank, a cow was killed and two others knocked down, Carl Bennett noticed as he was milking his cows Saturday night some were jumping and kicking and decided it was an electric shock and before he could remove the milkers three cows were down. Two recovered from the shock and one was dead. Mr. Bennett would have received a shock, too, had he not used his elbow where his chore coat was a heavy one to disconnect the electricity.
