Dr, Marjorie Hyer Gardner will discuss "Innovations In Science Education at 4 p.m. in the Science Education Center. Education Building, at USU, said Dr. A. L. Braswell, In charge of the science education program at USU. Dr. Gardner, who was born In Lewiston, and graduated from USU, will also address science education classes at USU. The USU Alumni Association Is cooperating in arranging her appearances. During her stay in Logan she Is visiting her mother, Mrs. Gladys CT Hyer, Logan. Sie began her teaching career at her high school alma mater, North Cache. In 1940 she was a member of the first National Science Foundation Academic Year Institute at (Hilo State University. Later she received masters and doctors degrees at Ohio State, where she taught chemistry and science education classes.
