A recent public opinion poll asked Salt Lake voters what they liked most about their Mayor, Jake Garn. Three answers predominated: 1. His absolute integrity and honesty. 2. An agency is necessary before the project can get under way. The Salt Lake County Commission has not yet agreed to that responsibility. Following the meeting City Auditor Lawrence A. Jones, who headed the investigation, confirmed the story that all charges of skimming remain unproven. Governor Calvin L. Rampton has invited John A. Green, regional administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, to be a member of his state plan-ni- g advisory committee. The committee is composed of state department directors and federal agency regional of state administrators, the committee was formed to coordinate state interagency efforts towards easing complex pressures related to energy and expanding growth in the State of Utah. Governor Rampton said close coordination among federal, state and local subgroups to assure that the local group activity is compatible with federal and state policy is also an important goal of the committee. ...
