In Springtime, the Hanscr Planetarium recreates the beginning of the cosmos in time hpse form so that visitors car watch in moments what took milliens of years to develop: Ihr galaxies, the stars and even oui own sun. Having looked into the past into the formation of what wc see about us today, Spring time of the Universe then gaze: into the future, again using i time-laps- e view, to watch the titanic explosions of giant star: and to observe the effeest on the earth and the gradual death o our sun as it swells and ther. collapses, first scalding and sterilizing our planet and then freezing it over forever. By looking a hundred billion years into the future, and compressing all of the future into a few minutes, guests can be present at that far distant time when the skies darken and the last stars die. It is a majestic and beautiful itory: the saga of the unfolding f our entire universe, its beginning and its end. The Springtime of the Universe will- contine to June 3. Jaytime shows are Tuesday to Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 and 1 p.m. There are evening shows jn Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00. There arc also shows on Sunday afternoon at 2 and 4.
