Show THE SALT LAKE TIMES FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3, 1971 University of Utah Offers 1 3 Travel Study Tours in 1972 The University of Utah will offer 13 travel study tours in 1972, most of them to Europe. Nine of the programs have been offered before, while four of them are new, according to Paul Cracroft, coordinator of the travel studies in the Division of Continuing Education. All take advantage of special low rate educational fares. Past programs include four from the Department of Languages: Pau, France; Salamanca, Spain; Kiel, Germany; and combination tour to Rome and to Athens. Under tentative planning these tours all will fly together to Paris next June and will then fan out to major study centers in Europe. There is no language prerequisite for any of the programs. Another traditional program is the springtime in Kiel venture, the Universitys only long standprogram. This ing "contract one ties together the U of U and Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and requires the equivalent of two years in German. The Family Living Tour this year will include the international Federation of Home Economics in Helsinki, plus a tour to Moscow and other capitals. This will be the third under the Department of Home Economics. An Educators to Europe tour also "made last year, geared for teachers seeking work. The final two repeaters will be a special cultural study and language program in Tunisia, backed by the U. S. Department of State, which rims to December 1972, and the springtime in Mexico torn: which is based in the art colony of San Miguel de Allende from March to June. This pro gram is by Utah State University. The four new programs in elude a Political Science and Art tour of Europe proposed by the Hinckley Institute of Politics and the Department of Music; an Ed ucators to India tour; also for the graduate credit for teachers; an International Medical Assn tour slanted toward Utah doctors and a Model UN tour of European UN Centers. The programs are in various stages of planning, but all of them are far enough ahead of last year's time schedule for the patrons to demonstrate some interest, he said. He stressed that logistical details are always 581-646- When the thought is genuine, the gift should be. Dewars uWhite Label They say there are a thousand ways to make Scotch whisky. They say. The Remington Arms experts suggest the following: Center an X on a large sheet of paper. Nail the paper to a board, and place it against a safe shooting surface. Fire at the X from your estimated hunting range, shouldering your gun quickly as you would in the field. Repeat several times. If the resulting patterns are not spread evenly around the X, your gun needs adjusting. Page Three BliNDID SCOTCH WHISKY . 668 PROOF . SCHCNUY IMPORTS CO, NY, NY. Gift wrapped at no axtra coat.
