Show SALT LAKE CITY, Plans Set for Big 70th Annual Utah State Press Assn. Meet Publishers of Utahs weekly newspapers, their wives, families and friends, will head for Salt Lake City this weekend for their Annual State Press Association winter meeting February 23, 24, 25. Convention headquarters will be the Hotel Utah. Business committee meetings and Board of Directors sessions are set for publishers only Friday afternoon with registration beginning at 3:00 P. M. At 7:00 the. convention will formally open with an opening night cabaret party and open house in the Empire Room of the Hotel Utah. McCarthy has announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for the office of Attorney General. At the present time, Mr. McCarthy is the Chief Criminal Deputy Salt Lake County Attorney and is a partner in the firm of McCarthy & Warr.
