I it If be properly filled out and returned to the Department of Fish and Game This must be done within five days after the closing of the season for which it was issued Regulation also requires that the special permit must b be in inthe inthe Inthe the possession of the hunter when hunting or transporting the game game- for which it was issued issued is is- sued and should accompany the animal to the locker or processing plant I have had s several veral inquiries l' l about the gr grouse use hunt that opens Sept 15 You have to have a special stamp This stamp can be purchased at any of the four regional offices offices of of- or at the Fish and Game office in Salt Lake City The stamp costs and entitles entities you to four grouse per day Two of these four grouse grouse can b be sage grouse for the ilie first two days The possession limit Is four birds so this means you have to consume the birds before before be be- fore you can legally take more There Ther are only a few known sage grouse flocks in inthis inthis inthis this area but we do have quita quits quite a few Blue grouse at the high elevations and a few Ruffled or Willow grouse at the lower elevations on Manti ManU Mountain Grouse season closes Sept 21 All persons 14 and 15 years of age are permitted to take upland game birds in season but must have nave a Utah game gallIc bird hunting license and special special cial stamp if hunting grouse They must be accompanied byan by byan byan an adult while hunting |
