George Crandall held the lucky number for the quilt given away by the BPW Club at the rodeo. Rodeo Rodeo One of the favorite events of the Fair was the Little Bucfcaroo Rodeo. Fifty-si- x contestants between 7 and 14 years of age, plus about 25 6 years and under participated in calf riding, pony riding, calf roping, barrel racing, pole bending, and special events are sheep riding. Of about 8 contestants, six and under, JIMMY WILLOUGHBY was the winner in the sheep riding, with BRODI WRIGHT taking second. The show was produced by Bemis Hunsaker of Tremonton, Utah. Louise Roath was a chairman with Gene Roath, John Hbftin, Louis Downard, Doug Moore and Randy Torman aa chute helpers. Bob Roath and Kent Vernon were Judges. Ivaloo Rees and Judy Roath were acorekeepets. Launa Blonquist and Tam Moore were the timers. Blaine Blonquist did a fine job of . announcing. Like all big rodeos, there were three downs: Manuel Downard, Mike Roath, and DeLaun Willoughby. (They were also the Pickup men.) Another special attraction waa an event called Cart before the Horse".. Lylette Willoughy and Shannon Wright got lots' of laughts from the crowds in this event. Ten adult men tried to fide a pony across the arena to win 85, but it turned out that the pony waa the winner (Ask flick Potter).
