It wax a thrill to have LaVem Frazier and family of New York here renewing friendship with John and Rose Biglow were happy to have John's sister Elda Way of Kalona, Iowa spend Wednesday night with them. Elda was here for the Bell Ringers Concert at the high school Wednesday night. Emery and Bernice Welde entertained their family for the 4th Kalvin and Carol Wilde and family and Kenneth Bearden and kids were all here for the festivities. Clod Thackers had a over the 4th. Chad and family and Carolyn and her family were here and Tracy and Shara down and vacationing with grandpa and grandma Thacker. The houseful Roy and Berta Potter hosted dinner for Lew and Jean Potter and family of Upton on the 4th of July. They also epjoyed some of the acitivies. ' The celebration at Oakley on the 4th ws a real success and the sponsors should be commended. A real highlight was the appearance of Governor and Mrs. Matheson who rode in the grand entry of the rodeo on the Harold and Helen Anderson were so pleased to have old friends Bud and Gladys Turn-boof Roy spend the 4th weekend with them. Sure was a lot of tall tales driftin around. w 4th. ;0 The Van Tassells all went to Salem Sunday to witness the blessing of Larry's and Debbie's The Terry Raff's have had hosts of company the last week. Mrs. Mary Stevens of Grace, Idaho who was Barbara's room mate at Ricks College came for a visit on Saturday. The Raff family joined the Jay Blacks of Orem; the Marve Maxwells at the Bear River Ranger Station for a genuine old fashioned quilting and picnic. The 4th brought Brother Denton Basney of Las Vegas to visit. baby. The great grandfathers and mothers- - were also there. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pyne of Provo and Arlye Moody and wife and great grandfather Moody all of Arizona were on hand for the blessing which wu done by his father with grandfathers and great grandfathers in the circle. They enjoyed the 4th with a big barbecue and lots of fun. and LaMarva Mitchell hosted Marve and Laura Simpson to an annivenary dinner at the Cow Boy Grub in Salt Lake Friday.
