If you could have pecked in at the home of Dale and Mclva Richins Saturday, December 20, you would have witnessed a Christmas party that had all the love and Christmas spirit that could come into one home. Of course there was wall to wall kids, but what a joy to see the small ones so happy and full of wonder about Christmas and Santa Claus. Yes. it was the annual Christmas party which is held each year at Grandma and Grandpa Richins. A buffet style dinner was served and then gifts were exchanged. Congratulations boys, the Henefer Ward Choir presented a special Christmas program, under the direction of the Ward Chorister, Arvilla Fawcett. Kay Dcardcn was at the piano. The choir sang several songs w'ith narration between. Those narrating were Phillip Toone, Darlene Richins, and Bud Keyes. Deanna Dcardcn, the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Dcardcn sang "Jesus Once Was A Little Child." A very beautiful and touching story, "The Blind Shepherd Boy" was told ..by Mrs. Alvin (Louise) Richins, with Maxine Richins playing background music on the organ. It was a lovely program.
