Show New Holes (Camas Valley Lydia Carpenter attended the dinner Saturday night held at Sam and Edna Mitchells home, to visit with Edna and Lydias brother, Roland Ellen and wife daughter Machelle from Salt Lake. It was a lovely day Wednesday for Zetta Smithies, Myrtle Pitt, Ivy Padfield, Amoria Davis and Lydia Carpenter who all helped Zetta celebrate her birthday by touring the highlights of Salt Lake City and enjoying a delicious dinner at Brattons. On their tour they drove to the mouth of Mill-creCanyon and through the Olympus caves admiring the spectacular homes and landscaping. On returning the group enjoyed birthday cake made by Zettas grand daughter Donna Davis. Mrs. Claude Thacker was brought from St. George ill. She was taken to the LDS Hospital where she underwent surgery. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Ward and Jo Blazzard are hack from a business-pleasu- re trip to Canada where they enjoyed sight seeing in Toronto, Quebec, and Montreal. Lona Larsen and Mrs. Carpenter are home again after spending the winter in Ontario, Calif. ek The Rhodes Valley Ward Primary held their Miss and Their Moms party with Games were played, refreshments served and talks on their achievements were given by each girl. Emery and Brenda George and family were home over the long weekend. They are from Kirtland, New Mexico. Peoa Ward Sacrament Meeting was an inspiration to all who attended with 21 of the LDS singers from the LDS Institute of Snow College. Their performance was great. Hannah Braithwaite and her two daughters of Idaho Falls are visiting at the parental home. They came for the graduation of brother Lew'is Field and the Memorial Day weekend. The Wayne Thomas are heading out for China Lake, Calif., where they will visit Kathlean Gasu and family. Daughter Sheron will accompany them and plan to spend the summer with her sister. The Wayne Thomas were happy Tuesday to receive a telephone call from their son Sean, who is on an LDS mission in Ireland.
