I guess the educators figure our kids arent kept busy enough with chores and Little League and Scouts and H and Primary and teevee-- so they give them Homework to occupy their Idle Ive Now-a-da- ys, 4-- hours. Problem Is, where am I going to find enough idle hours to help them? All my extra time la spent doing the chons they would have dona If they hadn't had so much Homework. My biggest problem Is with math-a- nd having two children In the third grade. Now yon would expeet any normal American mother to be able to master third grade math, bull cant seem to keep the methods straight. You see, Bobs teacher has one way of doingthlngs, Lindas teacher has another way and I didnt learn either one of ... them Although they an a little doubtful at times, I think both of them will make It through the third grade-- ln spite of my help not because of It. Things have changed so much In the world In the past 15 yean, they an studying today about countries that didn't even exist when I was In school.
