After all, its all part of Christmas. To the very old it is a time for memories. Memories of happier times, when the family was young and you struggled to get gifts for all. The new kitchen where the meal was served is ultramodern and one of the first buildings completed with funds from the 69 million dollar bond. Some folks say they can tell the young folks from the school because they look hard and tough but you could have taken the group that performed for us and placed them in any school anywhere and they would have looked right at home. Costumes were made by volunteers. I guess they never have any trouble getting them out to practice. They range in age from 10 to 19 years. There are more 14 and 15 year olds than any other age. A young neighbor comes over to the school to call the square dances for them and he and the dancers would be tops any-"whe- re. It costs about $4,000 per year to keep a student in school. Seems rather high until you remember that this covers seven days a week, twenty-fo- ur hours a day for 12 months.
