Show J V Ted Hallam and family Mrs. Alma Atkinson, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Atkinson and family all drove to Ephrata, 'Vashlngton over the Thanksgiving holiday to visit with Ivy's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lynu Barnes. Ivys niece and Tony and LeAnn, who are staying with them, this winter and going to school here, went also. Alma is still there and is planning on being home liy December 15. Joyce and Ronald Jacobs and family went to Paonia, Colorado to visit with his mother and brother over the holiday. Ralph Page is in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake after having surgery. Reports are he is doing fine and should becoming home soon. The Francis Socialables have been meeting quite often, making items for the bazaar, which will be Wednesday, December 11 at 7:30 at the church. They usually have some kind of refreshments and one night they had a pot-ludinner which was very good. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Olsen were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stevens at the Spring Chicken Inn Saturday, Decem-.- er Ivy and ck 7. Then on Sunday, December 8 they were guests at the home 'of Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Louder in Orem. Mae wants to know how to stay thin. She said she does fine early in the week but the good meals over the week-en- d ruin the will power practiced during the week. Any ideas? Mr. and Mrs. Dean Richlns and his mother, Mrs. Ralph ltichins of Evanston visited with the Fred Rlchins, Friday. Mrs. S. P. Mikkelsen spent several days last week with her daughter, Mrs. Chester Spangler in Layton. Mrs. Zelma Roberts and her daughter, Connie of Rock Springs visited several days the past week with her mother, Mrs. Acel Hales. Mr, and Mrs. Kenneth Mills of Provo visited at the Harrison Rlchins home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell spent' Dob and his family. Miss Pearl Birch is visiting at the home of her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Don Goodwin in Denver, Colo. Mrs. Arnold Mair and sons Ronnie and Brent have moved to Coalville. Her son Marvin and his wife Beverly and their two children are now making their home at the Echo Dam where he was installed as care taker Dec. 1. nard Lambert wa blessed this monty by his grandfather Ray Lambert. The Mutual will have their Christmas party December 17, starting with Christmas caroling, followed fay refreshments and dancing. The Primary officers and teachers are having their Christmas party for their husbands and partners December 16. There will be a program and dinner, Monday, December 23 will be the annual Christmas program. All the children of Primary age will participate in this program. Climaxing this event, Jolly Ole1 Saint Nick will be there to talk to and treat the children. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gines are the proud parents of a baby boy bom in the Heber hospital December 2. He weighed 6 lb. 12 oz. and will be named Bryan. He has a sister Lisa Kaye and brother Ken to give him lots of attention. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Broadhead of Heber and Mr. and Mrs. Arzy Crystal of Kamas. Mr, and Mrs. Dean Richardson have a new baby girl bom November 30 at the Heber hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. No name has been decided as yet. They have two other daughters Dixie and Lonnie and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Richards and Mr. and Ralph Prescott. There am a few little Kamas girls taking dancing lessons in Heber. Robin and Rhonda Holton, Cathy and Debbie Page, and Tonla and Dody Mitchell. They do exercises, modem dancing and all other forms of dancing. This is quite an experience for these girls, and for their mothers. Their teach- er is Norma Knight. Mrs. Keith Page has been in the St. Marks Hospital all week. She had surgery, but is home now and feeling as well as can be expected. Keiths mother helped out with their children. She is planning on teaching again after the first of the year. The Kamas Relief Society are having their Christmas party December 17. They are going to have a real nice program and dinner. Ivy Padfleld is on the sick list again. This time she has the flu. There is a lot around the valley. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Prescott of Henderson, Nevada were home for the week-en- d. Jimmie Bigelow and Dennis Jorgenson, who are both in the service and stationed at Fort Ordj California will be able to come home for Christmas. Ronnie Bigelow and girl friend Sharron Overson, from Cedar City are planning on getting married December 27. Mr. DeVon Wilde had surgery December at the Heber pital. Instead of going to school S- Chas. Carlile Dies in Heber Charles Francis Carlile, 78, died Dec. 4, at his home. He was born June 13, 1890, Heber City, to John and Sarah Crook Carlile. Married Vivian Cummings Sept. 27, 1916, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Carlile was custodian of Wasatch LDS Stake Tabernacle, Seminary, 20 years. 1953. Mr. McNeil was the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Kathy Jo to Mr. Stanley W. Moon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon M. Moon, Woodland, Utah. The couple will be married December 19 in the Salt Lake Temple. That night the couple will be honored at a reception in the Woodland Wardfrom7:30 to 10 p.m. The future bride and groom are both students at Brigham Young University where Miss Snapp is now completing her associate degree. Mr. Moon has fulfilled an LDS Western Canadian Mission.
