Show 1 I I Diamond Bar X Hosts Patrons The Diamond Bar X Ranch hosted tha summer people who have building lots from the Bar X, to an old fashioned barn dance. Music for the dancing was furnished by the GentleHilarious races men were run such as sack, but the highlight of the racing was tha frog races, and the ice cream freeaing contest was not to be outdone. Over a hundred people were on hand to enjoy the festivities and the luscious box lunches. Saturday July 6 will be in the hearts of the guests for some time. Mrs. Arvin entertained the Anderson family on Sunday July 7 in honor of their mother's 80th birthday. All were present tor tha picnic lunch which mother nature attended in the form of rain, sending them hurrying in the shelter of the barn. The children were able to play there while parents visited. Congratulations Mother Anderson and may there by many more. Mont and Lanaee Fitzgerald and family and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thacker and family were guests on the 4th of Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Anderson and family a nice swim at the Homestead in Heber, then back to the Ranch for aWeenie Roast. The MJJL. leaders, Ardean Anderson, llyrna Rasmussen and Eva Gines hosted the Laurel girls to an evening of hilarious bowling at foe lanes in Heber. The Bee Hive girls had a most enjoyable evening swimming at the Homestead in Heber. Their leaders Marba Bushell and Elynn Moon accompanied them. Tha Woodland Gophers under foe direction of their leaders dark Bronson and Byron Rasmussen spot I glorious days and nights in. foe Alexander Lake area, enjoying the Joys of nature. They did some fishing, swimming, in foe lake. The bonfire and bear stories were foe most fascinating. They had William Robinson Family in Reunion Over ninety persons attended the William H. Robinson family reunion which was held in foe City Park June 89 to enjoy a pot luck luncheon, games, a program and lots of visiting. Summer Camp at Upper Pine Valley above Kamas last week. Their camp director and chaperone was Mrs. Eugene Pace. The girls report having a wonderful time. Mrs. Hazel Street attended the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hennick in Wamsutter, Wyomingon June 30. Mrs. Hennick is the daughter of Mrs. Street. Mrs. Street also attended the graveside services in Salt Lake of her grandson, Dr. Fullmer ho was killed in a plane crash. Dr. Fullmer was a dentist in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Pendleton and some of their friends visited at foe home of Mrs. Millie Pendleton Sunday. Mrs. Anise Young is visiting for a couple of weeks at the home of Theone Eliason of Salt Lake. Stopping In to pay their respects to Mrs. Florence Smith on her birthday Sunday were her daughter, Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolinder, Julie Nielson and Antonne Peterson and Virginia and Gene France of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Black of Florida also stopped in to wish Many Happy Re- turns. Mrs. George Fisher spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fisher in Salt 65, Franklin, Idaho, died July 1, 1968 in an Ogden hospital. Born Oct. 31, 1902, Peoa, a daughter of Thomas Marlon and Ann Elisa Palmer NeeL Lake. Miss Linda Woolstenhulme from Montana spent foe weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Darcey. Married to Elmer Stokes, July 12, 1932, Coalville. He died in LuGene Darcey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Darcey spent the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Merchant of Provo. 1953. Survivors: son, daughter, E. Neel, Franklin; Mrs. Floyd R. (Joyce) Anderson, Roy, Utah; eight grandchildren, brothers. Lee P., Franklin; John, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Friday Franklin Ward Chapel. Burial, Preston Cemetery. Young Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davis enjoyed a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Bill Davis and family who reside in Wisconsin. Our best wishes to both for a speedy recovery. Dave Johnson is in an Ogden hospital receiving medical attention. We wish him a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. John Carter returned last week from a six day trip which took them to a "Ham convention in Cheyenne, Wyoming then on a tour visiting with friends old and new in Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Judd, of Hoytsyille had a wonderful weekend visiting with their era, Doyle, from Phoenix, Arizona. On Friday, foe Judds and their family, Shanna, Frank, Doyle and Linda Pack of Pleasant Grove along with Mrs. Judd's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley R. Stephens of Henefer, spent foe day enjoying the Wasatch Mountain State Park, On Sunday foe family enjoyed a birthday dinner in honor of Frank's birthday. A telephone call was received from their other son, Val and family who live in Rochester, Minn, and is working for IBM. The announcement of the engagement of Doyle and Linda was also made. Doyle's family and grandparents and Linda's parents accompanied Doyle to foe airport Sunday evening where he left for Phoenix to resume his most interesting Job. He will return to Provo this fall to complete his Master's degree. He has received an assistant-shi- p and fellowship from BYU to further his education. Miss Kathy Gines, 10, is spending 6 weeks visiting with her grandmother Mrs. Stella Diston until her parents vacation in August. She is the daughter of Nadine and Stanley Gines of Las Vegas. Mrs. Clara Staley of Salt Lake, the mother of Melba Olaveson and sister of Mrs. Clyde Lamb and Mrs. Stella Diston, is quite ill. She is confined to her home in Salt Lake at this writing. We wish her a speedy recovery. Kay and Larry Fransen visited Sunday and Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lamb. They are enjoying a short vacation. Summer Swimming Program Lewis Family Holds Reunion The Joseph Lewis of Wales, reunion was held at Evergreen Park in Salt Lake City, June 29. Games were played, such as soft ball and tennis. Coombs and family, Myrl and Leota Lewis and grandchildren, (their parents are deceased). Mrs. Doris Hair and daughter Enid Tatton and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. Easton Parratt (Lyla Lewis) , Mr. and Mrs. James H. West (Florabelle Lewis) and daughter Marjory and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bowen Lewis and family and Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Lewis and family. Because of the extreme cold the group retired to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale (Hope) Hortln, to renew acquaintances and hold their Genealogical meeting.
