Tlntlc OES 4 Worthy Matron, Patricia Brady, assisted by Worthy Patron, Frank Tuckett, presided at the of Monday evening meeting Tintic Chapter, No. 18, O. E. S. A routine business session was held, and plans were made for the 65th annual session of the Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, which will convene in Salt Lake, beginning on Wednesday of this week. Several members of Tintic Chapter will attend the sessions. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Farnsworth were on the serving committee, and served tasty Columbia Rebekah Columbia Rebekah Lodge No. 2, met last Thursday in the Miners Union Hall, with Noble Grand Alliene Farren presiding. A routine business session was disposed of and plans were made for a Bake Sale to be held Thursday, October 15 at the Memorial Hall at 11:00 a.m. All kinds of baked goods will be sold, and it will be a good time for the hunters to put in a supply of goodies to have on the deer hunt. Coffee ar.d doughnuts will be sold during the sale. At the conclusion of the business meeting, several games of Bingo were played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Nellie Laird and Mrs. Irma Jasperson. Entre Nous Entre Nous Literary members drove to Sundance in Provo Canyon last Wedneseday for dinner. They arrived at the Sundance Lounge early enough to make a tour of the surrounding mountains, which were beautiful in their fall colors. This was the opening of the club meetings for The Club President Deanna Sorensen presided at the Ladies of Elks meeting held Tuesday evening of this week in the Elks club rooms. After the business of the meeting had been disposed of, cards were enjoyed with bridge and other games furnishing the evenings diversion. Prizes were won by Ruth Rowley, Fawn Fife and Mary Schow. Mrs. Sorensen was hostess for the meeting and served tasty refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker of Tucson, Ariz., spent the past, week here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Walker.
