Show August 30, 1968 THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER Page Four Corinnr Garbett, 11 year-oldaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Garbett is in the University of Utah hospital where she is being treated for an undetermined illness. She is reported to be in a serious condition. Corinnes many friends and the friends of the family are all wishing her the best in the way of a speedy and complete recovery. d Mrs. Elna Bird and daughter, Marene, drove to Salina last Fiiday where they met her father, Jay Crane, and they traveled to Flagstaff, Arizona. They met Mr. Cranes daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. McCostlin of San Miguel, California, and he joined them for a trip to Alabama. Enroute home Mrs. Bird and Marene made a trip to the Grand Canyon, and stopped in Marysvale for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Don Julander. I i Mr. and Mrs. Sterlin Hutchinson of Evanston, Wyoming, spent the weekend in Mammoth with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rose. On Saturday they drove to Dugway, and on Sunday enjoyed a steak fry in West Tintic. Doyle Hansen of Las Vegas, left Tuesday for his home, after spending several days here with his mother, Mrs. Hoanna Hansen. While here he and his mother drove to Provo to visit with Mrs. Hansens daughter and family, Mrs. Norma Elton. Mrs. Terry Kay and two boys Danny and David of Salt Lake City are spending the week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Fennell Mrs. Kay drove to Eureka on Monday and returned to the city that evening. iting with the Brennan Hannifin family. Mrs. Luella Gear and daughters, Mrs. Gloria Rife of Spr-ingvil- le and Mrs. Merle Smith of Downey, California, were in town last Thursday visiting with Mrs. Elsie Nilson. Mr. and Mrs. Ray made a business trip to Salt Lake on Tuesday of this week. Jim Nash returned to San Francisco last Wednesday. He had spent a week here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nash. They drove him to the Salt Lake Airport. Mr .and Mrs. Jim Brady of Santaquin spent Sunday at the home of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brady. Mrs. Alliene Farren and her Mrs. Nathan Morris of Abilene, Texas, spent a week at Las Vegas. They returned home on Saturday. Mrs. Morris left for her home on Tuesday. sister-in-la- Julia Sylvester and daughter, Jane, of Hayward, California, were in town on Wednesday visiting with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sandstrom. Mrs. John T. Sullivan and Art Baderts-che- r w, Mr .and Mrs. Sam Clayson Mc- Donald of Salt Lake City were in town on Sunday looking after mining property and vis and family of Lake Shore spent the weekend in Mammoth with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hansen. Band marches Tintic High School Band will march in the Payson Homecoming Day parade on Monday September 2 under the direction of Ronald Griggs instructor. Miners Auxiliary Miners Union Auxiliary will hold the first meeting of the fall months on Wednesday, September 4. A good attendance is being urged by those in charge. Young at Heart Young at Heart group enjoyed a box lunch and a watermelon bust last Wednesday afternoon at the Rest Area in West Tintic. Games were play- ed and the weather was perfect for the outing.
