Mrs. Merle Gardner and Mrs. Norma Gardner of Salt Lake City were in town last week attending to business affairs and visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Naef. Mrs. Wanda Sanderson returned home last week from the Utah Valley hospital where she has been confined for sev eral days. Friends are wishing her continued improvement. Mike Sanderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Sanderson, spent the weekend here with his parents. He is employed at Provo for the summer months. Miss Frances Jones hosted a patio dinner Tuesday evening at her home honoring Mr. and Mrs. Charles Van Wagoner and family, who were visiting here from their home in Palo Alto, Calif. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Taylor. He is home on leave from San Diego Naval Base and upon his return to the Naval station he will be assigned to the USS Nicholas Destroyer. The groom is a graduate of Tintic High School and the bride has attended Tintic High and is a senior at the school. . Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson and two daughters returned home Friday evening from Guam, where they have spent the past two years. Carl is an electronic technician and works at Anderson Air Force Base as a civilian.
