Jane and Edward Fitch, daughter and son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Fitch, Jr., are spending the summer months here with their parents. Miss Jane is a student at the University of Utah, and Edward has been attending school in California. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carrico of Saginaw, Mich., were in town last Thursday for a short visit with friends. Mrs. Carrico will be remembered as the former Ancilla Giovannoni, a former resident of Eureka. They visited with their daughter and family, Mr. and two-wee- Mrs. Norman Milne in Victorville. While there they were taken to the Big Bear Resort and to Arrow Head. After leaving there they spent time with Mrs. Birds sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. McCost-li- n in San Miguel, where they took side trips to Morro Bay and Pismo Beach; after leaving there they . made a short visit to Camarillo, with Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Richards, and the pleasure of visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sandstrom of Eureka, who were visiting at the Richards home. They then visited with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bird at Belle Gardens. While there they attended a ball game between the Dodgers and Cardinals at Dodger Stadium, which was probably the , highlight of the trip, as Lee is an avid baseball fan. A daughter, Marene, who had spent the past month in California, returned to Eureka with them. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blight returned home Wednesday even are wishing her the best in the way of a speedy and complete recovery.
