Mr. and Mrs. Dick Wheelock of Spanish Fork, were guests on Sunday at the home of his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Gillespie. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garity of Orem, spent Sunday here with his mother, Mrs. Mildred Garity. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Kay and two boys, Danny and David, and Terrys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kay and Lee Ann of Riverton, Wyoming, spent four days at Yellowstone Park on a vacation trip. The group then returned to Riverton, Wyoming and the Terry Kays visited there for a few days. They returned home last Wednesday eveniing. John T. Sullivan of Salt Lake was in town last Sunday, looking after his mining interests in this area. He was a guest at the Brennan Hannifin home. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Erickson were in Lehi over the weekend visiting with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. James Toone made a hurry up trip to Evanston, Wyoming, Sunday af- ternoon to visit with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Lester, and to check on their 13 year old grandson, Evan, who had suffered a broken wrist in a fall off his bicycle. They report he was Miss Frances Jones returned home Monday afternoon from k vacaan enjoyable tion trip to Hawaii, where she was a house guest of Mrs. two-wee- Charles Van Wagoner and daughters. Charles is in the Philippines on a special assignment at the present time. An interesting tour of several of the Islands added interest to the vacation, and Mrs. Van Wagoner has been in Hawaii long enough to know the interesting places to take her guest. Francis states that the only thing wrong with the vacation was that it wasnt long enough. The trip was made by jet plane. The Knotts family reunion was held last Sunday at Saratoga. Family members attending from Eureka were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Lucas and family, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Schow and boys, Mrs. Fred Roberts and children; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Chambers and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wellings Schow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gourley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gourley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gourley and family, Mrs. Ken- neth Taylor and daughter, Stacy. Many other former and family members from around the state also were in attendance at the re- Eu-reka- ns union. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Baderts-che- r and boys, were in Green River, Wyo., over the weekend, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson. They also drove to Flaming Gorge Dam before returning to reka. Mrs. Charleen Gilson returned home last week after being confined to the Payson Hospital, where she underwent a series of tests. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brady and Ray, of Santaquin, and Mr. and Mrs . Keith Brady and daughter, Lisa, of Woods Cross were visitors Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brady. They came to Eu mXI YEARS SEPF. Ill KI Ivan Nielsen of Springville spent last Saturday afternoon here with her Mr. and Mrs. brother-in-la- w, -- Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lee. A very welcome guest at the Lloyd Randle home over the weekend, was their grandson, Mike. Randle, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Randle of Salt Lake. The Tom Randles drove to Las Vegas for the weekend, and young Mike had a ball with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chatwin attended the William S. Houghton family reunion last week, which was held at Arrowhead. There were 50 descendants attending the reunion. It was an especially enjoyable day for the small fry, as they enjoyed pony and cart rides, which was greet- ings to Janet Brady on the occasion of her 14 th birthday, and to sample the lovely birth- day cake. Elsie Nilson were in Salt Lake on Monday, whore they visited with Mrs. Leonard Ryan, who is confined to the LDS Hospital. Mrs. Cleo Judge was in Salt Lake last Thursday, and was accompanied on the return trip by her daughter-in-laand granddaughter, Mrs. Vernon Jones and son, Troy. Mr. Jones joined them on Sunday and they spent the holiday weekend here. They were at the guests Wayne Chambers home. w, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lee drove to Fish Lake last Sunday afternoon and returned home Tuesday evening. They were joined at the lake by a son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Max Lee of Salt Lake. Before returning to Eureka they stopped in Ephraim for a few hours with another son and his family, Mr .and Mrs. Glen Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brady and daugters, Janet and Pam, Mrs. Myrtle Theriault and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Willy Cohenour of Salt Lake were over-nigguests Sunday, at the Brennan Hannifin home. ht Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Berry were in Spanish Fork last attending funeral services for Floyd (Curley) Bowen. Later in the day they drove to Mapleton where they visited with his mother, Mrs. Marie Berry. Sat-urd- Mr. and Mrs. Dean Manson and daughter, Marcia, of Salt Lake were in town over the Labor Day weekend.
