Invocation was by Lauren Thompson. Craig Colovich was advanced in the Aaronic Priesthood to the office of teacher. Wilson Lee was released as general secretary of the Aaron- ic Priesthood Adults and David The honors Are YOURS CLASS OF Garbet, Jr., was sustained as new general secretary. Richard Maxwell was released as Sunday School teacher, and sustained as general secretary of the Adult Aaronic Priesthood. Seminary graduation services were held with Kirk Drussel, president of the class conducting. Talks were given by Sue McIntyre, Gloria Castleton, David Chambers, Elizabeth Castleton, Connie Boswell, Gaye Phillips, and remarks were made by Kirk Drussell and Bishop Bartschl. A vocal solo, Carol Ann Webb, piano solo by Susan Sanderson were enjoyed. Bishop Bartschl awarded certificates of graduation and pins were awarded to Gaye Phillips, Kirk Drussell, David Chambers and Gloria Castleton. They were pinned on by the mothers of the young people. Remarks were made by Paul Fawson, seminary instructor. Marshal Burton, supervisor of the district seminaries, was present at the exercises. Benediction was by Kirk Drussel. New seminary officers were elected for the coming year, and are announced as follows: Barry Franks, president; Max Wayne Berry, first counselor; Jan Phillips, second counselor; Susan Sanderson, secretary and David Hyde, historian; Connie Boswell, reporter. of registration, which are being accepted now. The stake MIA leadership meeting was held last Monday evening at the stake center. The YWMIA Stake Certification Camp Clinic has been set for Thursday, June 3, and 10 at Goshen Ward at 10 a.m. All executives, sports camp directors and all girls certifying for third year are to be present. Executives hope to get all certification complete prior to the girls summer camp at KoHo-LoW- o July 13 through 16. The camp certification events will be in charge of Joan Thomas and Edith Tischner. The special sports camp held annually at Tracy Wigwam Camp in Salt Lake City will be held the Thursday prior to MIA Conference June 17. Commencing at 8 a.m., and carrying on until 5 p.m. the program will consist of training and the teaching of skills to do with camping, including fire building, handicrafts, camp fire programs, song fests, etc. The stake Old Folks Summer Party has been postponed from the scheduled date of Saturday, May 28, 1965 wi fjolei Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lester and daughter, Debbie, of Evanston, Wyoming, left Monday for their home after spending four days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Toone. Marcia Lester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lemar Lester, also of Evanston, accompanied them to Mammoth, and visited with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rose. She returned to Evanston with them on Monday. Mrs. Earlean Gear spent the weekend in Magna and Salt Lake. She was an overnight guest on Saturday at the home of her brother and sister-in-1 a w, Mr. and Mrs. George Cromar. May 29, and is now set for Saturday, June 26. There will be a fine dinner, program and other fine activities in the planning. Stake High Councilman Leland Sanderson is in charge of the event. Miss Rose Ann Ferris, who is employed in Salt Lake, spent the weekend here with her parents, Mayor and Mrs. Charles Ferris. Mr. and Mrs. Whitford Bate of Provo, and their daughter, Carol, and a son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bate and small daughter, Adrean of Portland, Oregon, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stokes and two daughters of Orem; spent Sunday here at the Vem Nevers home. They came in the morning and attended the special services at Building, ices. following Methodist Church, and enjoyed the pot luck dinner at the Memorial the the Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lee and son, Marx Lee of Salt Lake, spent the weekend at Fish Lake, getting their property in shape for the summer months. Mrs. Charles Ferris is spending a few days in Kearns with a daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Van Ausdal.
