(Art) Coffey, 63, brother of Jack Coffey, and a former resident of Eureka, died in a Salt Lake hospital, last Thursday, July 30, 1964, after a long illness. The letter and the promotion notice was signed by K. F. Brown, CDR, USN, Commanding Officer of the USS Bigelow. Mr. Bogdan enlisted in the Navy soon after graduating from Tintic High School several years ago. He is presently on a North Eurepean cruise. suffers injuries Dennis Drussel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Drussel, suffered serious injuries Tuesday evening, when a horse he was riding reared back and fell on him. His left leg was broken in two places above the knee. He underwent surgery Tuesday night in the Utah Valley Hospital. Latest reports are that he suffered further injuries, which had not been determined at this writing. Dennis many friends in Tintic - Eurekans attend PTA convention A PTA Convention was held in Provo on Tuesday for Region 2, 7, and 10. Representatives from the various counties were in attendance. Mary Keeler, a national officer from Iowa attended the conference. . The convention consisted of training sessions for councils and local units. Attending from Tintic were Supt Paul C.
