Mrs. Nettie Mulliner of Mur- ray visited over the weekend at the home of her daughter and family, the Melvin Many men owe the grandeur of their lives to difficulties. I Wal- kers. (Hank) Bates was taken to the Nephi Hospital Tuesday morning where she is being given medical treatment. The nature of her illness was not determined at this writing. Friends are wishing her the best in the way of a speedy recovery. Mrs. Vola Nevers spent Tues- day in Spanish Fork visiting with her mother, Mrs. E. A. Stokes. She also visited with Mrs. Jessie Billings. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Blight Monday evening was R. L. Ashby, director of the State School Lunch Program, who was in town to speak at. the Parent-TeachAssociation meeting. er Mrs. Jim Derry, has spent the past ten days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Randle, left Wednesday evening for Salt Lake City.
