Show Page Four November 1, 1963 THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER The Darwin Larsens are re turning to Utah after spending some time in Puerto Rico. They will reside in Spanish Fork. They report that they had a marvelous experience in Puerto Rico and that it was enjoyable receiving the Reporter, even though a month late. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rose of Mammoth were in Salt Lake City Monday attending the funeral services for John Grace, father of Mrs. Clyde Rose. Mrs. Rose was a resident of Mammoth for many years. Mrs. Rudy Atherley returned home this week from the Pay-so- n Hospital where she had been confined for several days following surgery. Friends will be pleased to learn that she is much improved. REED S. ERICKSON International Union of Mayor and Mrs. Charles Ferris, Mrs. Virginia Cartwright and Mrs. Agnes Larsen of Spanish Fork spent the week- -, end in Las Vegas. They returned home Sunday night. Mrs. Kenneth Underwood underwent surgery Friday morning at the Nephi Hospital. Her friends will be happy to learn that she is doing nicely, and all are wishing her continued improvement. Mrs. Irma Gourley underwent major surgery Monday morning at Utah Valley LDS Hospital. Latest reports from the family are that she is somewhat improved. Her many acquaintances and friends are wishing her the best in the way of a speedy recovery. Enroute home they stopped in Richfield for a visit with Mrs. Lydia Duggan. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Brady and daughters, Janet and Pam and Mrs. Myrtle Theriault were in Salt Lake City last Sunday visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rose and Carolee were in Evanston, Wyoming, over the weekend visiting with their daughters and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Lester and Mr. and Mrs. Le-M- ar Sunday guests at the home if Locomotito Optra tingJEnjineers, of who had spent the past week at the Blight home getting acquainted with the baby daughter, Laura Ann, who is the center of attraction at the Blights. Sterlin Hutchinson. Bob Gillespie of Salt Lake City and daughter, Noel, of Provo, spent the weekend here with Bobs mother, Mrs. Florence Gillespie. Mr. and Mrs. Burtis Jameson and daughter JoLynn were in Ogden last week attending the wedding and reception for Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bills. Mr. Bills is a nephew of Mrs. Jameson. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Van Wagoner and daughters of Mt. View, California, who have been visiting with Charles' parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Burton, left for their home Tuesday morning. Kennecotts thousands of employees already have earned this coveted title Once again they have organized their own campaign to help the Salt Lake Area United Fund raise the money needed to support 38 health, welfare and recreation agencies' in Salt Lake and South Davis Counties. Special commendation to all Kennecott employees was paid by Neal A Maxwell, United Fund Campaign chairman, who said: The employees at the operating plants and in the Salt Lake City offices deserve the thanks of the entire community for their highly successful campaign I was particularly impressed with the outstanding support provided by enlightened Union leaders throughout Kennecott operations. Pictured on this page are some of the plant representatives who were a vital factor in organizing the campaign that resulted in contributions totalling more than SI 00,000.
