Show Universal Microf ilLiing Corp . 141 Pierpont Ave. Salt Lake City 1, Utah ' Services held Tuesday for Eureka matron Margaret Sullivan Hannifin, 84, a resident of Eureka for over 70 years, died Friday in a Tooele nursing Mrs. home of pauses incident to age. She was bom Sept 26, 1878, in Cleone, County Cork, Ire- land, a daughter of Daniel and Mary Harrington Sullivan. She came to this country when she was four years of age. She attended the Sacred Heart Academy in Ogden, for a few years, and after coming to Eureka, attended St. Josephs Catholic School. After finishing school she worked in the Eureka Post Office until her marriage to Con J. Hannifin in 1896. The marriage was performed in Salt Lake. He died in 1935. Daz as the celebrant. The church choir furnished the music for the Mass under the direction of Gertrude Church, director and organist. Burial was in the Eureka City cemetery. Relatives here for the services were Mrs. T. D. Sullivan, John T. Sullivan, Mrs. Margaret Sullivan; Mrs. Ray Larsen and son and daughter, Bill and Patricia, of Salt Lake; Mrs. Gordon Frisby and daughter, Mrs. Max Larsen of Ruth, Nevada; Margaret Harrington, and Mrs. Daisy Harding of n Provo; ajid Mr. and Mrs. Mil-to- Buxton, Goshen. Former residents and friends attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Stan Tietjen, Boyd Burraston, Lewis and Raymond Jasperson, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Horton, Curtis Sorensen, Edgar Finch and son, Carl; Lyman Loney, all of Goshen; Glee Manwill, Mrs. Bethel Drissell, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hore, Payson; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jensen, of Springville; and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis of Genola. Eurekan's father dies In Provo William Chambers, 84, fath- er of Wayne Chambers of Eureka, died last Wednesday in a Provo hospital after a long Alness. He was born April 28, 1878. in Spanish Fork to George H. and Rachael David Chambers. He married Dean Warner Dec. 23, 1904, in Grace, Idaho. She died August 2, 1930. He followed mining for a number of years. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include sons and daughters: W. Clyde, Oakland, California; Lee H., San Carlos, Calif.; Wayne, Eureka; Keith S., Lancaster, Calif.; Gerald W., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mrs. Spencer Mendenhall, and Mrs. Albert E. Pulver, both of Payson; 26 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary at Spanish Fork. Burial was in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. Eurekans attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gourley, Mr. and Mrs. Wellings Schow, and the Chambers family. Airs. William Treloar returned home Sunday evening after a pleasant stay in California, where she visited with a son, Nick, and a daughter and family, Air. and Mrs. M. D. Snodgrass in San Francisco.
