She was assisted by Worthy Patron, Joseph Roach. A routine business meeting was disposed of and plans were- made for the visitation of Grand Officers of O. E. S. of Utah, which will be on May 6th. After the Chapter meeting, Dora and Lloyd Randle served - a tasty lunch. Bridge club Mrs. Alliene Farren en- tertained the Bridge Club at her home last Thursday evening. After the card games were concluded, the hostess served delicious refreshments to members, Mrs. Don Giles, Mrs. Ted Johnson, Mrs. Frank Peart, Mrs. Minnie Painter, Mrs. Anna Franks, Mrs. Roy Gourley and a special guest, Mrs. Darrell Franks. Peterson is confined to the Payson Hospital, where he is being given treatment He is an instructor in the Price schools and was to Price Sunday afternoon, when he collapsed in a service station. He was rushed to the hospital and his many friends in the district are wishing him the best in the way of a speedy and complete recovery. Agnes Clement were in Spanish Fork Monday visiting with a cousin of Mrs. Toones, Mrs. Regina Bloom, and with Mrs. E. A. Stokes. investure services The Girl Scout Intermediate Group held a candlelight inves- ture service last Thursday evening in Memorial Building. The ceremonies were directed by leaders, Laura McIntyre and Donna Laird. Participating in the services were Debbie Laird, Mickey Morris, Alice Judge, Kathy en-rou- te Mrs. Elysabeth Franke, Mrs. Elsie Nilson, Mrs. Rowena Hanks and Ethel Brenton were in Salt Lake City last Thursday evening attending a meeting of Mt. Olympus Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Weeeknd guests at the home of Mrs. Wilma Webber were her son, Ed Webber and his three sons, Johnny, Jimmy and Eddie of Orem. Montoya, Debbie Ewell, Jenny Lynn Taylor, Pam McIntyre, Kim Panneil, Janet Brady, Sue Ann Jameson, Marelo Bogdan, and Launa Allinson. High score was won by Mrs. Darrell Franks, honors by Mrs. Giles, cut by Mrs. Johnson and the consolation by Mrs. Peart. Ladies of Elks Election of officers was the main business of importance at the Tuesday meeting of the ladies of Elks. President Mar-Jea- n Finch, presided at the business session, and the following officer were elected to serve for the coming year: President Leona Laird; Vice President, Thelma Roberts; Sec.; Marie Evans; Treasurer, Thelda Eastwood. Tentative plans were made for the basketball banquet to be held later in the month. After the election and the business meeting concluded, a social hour was enjoyed, with Bridge furnishing the entertainment. Prizes were won by Mrs. Laird, Mrs. Faye Wall and Mrs. Roberts. Birthday party honors daughter Mrs. Max Berry honored her daughter, Kathy, at a party last Friday afternoon in the Memorial Building. The party commemorated Kathys tenth birthday anniversary. Bingo and dancing entertained the party guests during the afternoon. Prizes were won by Charles Butler, Linda Webb and Lana Rae Laird.
