Family members attending the nicely arranged luncheon were Mrs. L&veme Sorensen, Mrs. Ruth Sorensen, Mrs. Bar- Jerry D. Giles weds Nevada girl in rites held at Ely y Christian Service elects officers The Womena Society of Chrlatlan Service met laat Friday evening at the home ' of Mra. Virginia Randle. The buaineaa meeting waa conducted by President Jackie Banghart The devotional waa presented by Mra. Virginia Badertacher. At. the conclusion of the regular meeting, an election of officers waa held. Mrs. LaVon Ryan was elected President for the coming year. Vice President waa Mrs. Sec.' Mrs. Virginia Treasurer, Mra. MyrBad-ertsch- Yjtw ensen, Byron Sorensen, and Mrs. Janice Cl ay son and two children of Lake Shore. The Reporter joins with her many friends in the District in extending congratulations and best wishes on her big day. Ralph McCormick of Los Angeles, arrived In Eureka last week, where he will spend a few weeks before returning to California. Week-en- d guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McCabe were Mrs. McCabe's aunt, Mrs. Mary Dinneen and daughter, Mary Edna of -- Ladies of Elks celebrated at the annual Spring Luncheon in the Wednesday aftemon 75 members Elks Club rooms. were In attendance. A buffet luncheon was served at 1:30 p.m. Small tables were centered with cleverly fashioned bouquets of artificial flowers nested in lace doilies. The large serving table, held pink and white cakes, arranged attractively the length of the table. An entertaining program, arranged by Ronald Griggs, music Instructor at the Tintic schools, was presented as follows: double mixed quartet from high school, gave two numbers; Carl and Cliff Fife, two guitar numbers; a vocal solo, Pam MacAfee. Mrs. LaVon Walker was the accompanist for the singing numbers. Some lovely prizes were given away during the- afternoon. Ladies of Elks from Salt Lake, - Tooele and Payson were in attendance at the Luncheon. The entertainment committee consisting of Mrs. Wm. Roberts, Mrs. Robert Fife and Mrs. Lynn Brady were in charge of the arrangements for the luncheon. Lloyd Randles honor son . Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Randle were hosts at a dinner party at their home Sunday honoring their son, Tom, on the occasion of his birthday. Attending the nicely aranged dinner were Mr. and Mrs. David Austin and daughters, Mary and Margaret of Nephi, Jim Derry, Diane Randle of Salt Lake and the honored guest. Mrs. Florence Gillespie re- turned home last week, after spending the winter months in Salt Lake City. Arrival -- Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gourley, Jr., are the parents of a baby boy, born April 26, in the Pay-so- n hospital. The little lad weighed 7 lbs., 8 os., and will be called James Lee. He has two brothers, Gary 6, and Jerry 4, who are thrilled over the new brother. Mrs. Gourley Is the former Mary Lou Far-re- New officers will be instated at the Methodist Church Service on May 6. New Mrs. Giles is a graduate of a Reno high school, and the groom graduated from Tintic high school, and at present is employed by Boyles Bros. Drilling Company in Tonapah.
