A delicious luncheon and card playing were the fea- tures. Mrs. Ernest Boyns gave a party in honor of the. tenth birthday of her daughter Dolly. Games were played and a dainty luncheon. was served to twenty little folks. Also present was the great grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Fields. The student chapter of the Booster club of Tintic High School were reorganized with Robert Laird, president; Robert Runnells, vice president; Bill Wlrthlin, secretary and treasurer; Principal Bishop as advisor. They were to assist the Pep club at all games. At a meeting of the Band Boosters, plans were made to raise money for new uniforms. They planned to sponsor a card party at the Little Theatre. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Boley of American Fork were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lee. The Lady Elks held their annual banquet at which time a very interesting program was given and a delicious turkey banquet was served. Mrs. Vem Rife presided and Mrs. John Rowe was general chairman. The table decorations were beautiful and the favors and place cards were in keeping with the holiday sea- son. In the playing, Mrs. Maynard Cronin won the high score prize and Mrs. Frank card- Garrity the - all-cu- t. Twelve students from Eureka and Mammoth were registered at the Brigham Young University at Provo. The students registered from Eureka were: Betty Andrew, Wanda Campbell, Elaine Chris-topherso- n, Maurine Forsey, Maraleen Hogan, Robert Naylor, Jack B. Lcatherbury, Fern Painter, Jack Russell, Anna Lou Townley. From Mammoth, Rulon Bradley and Robert Hassell. Eastwood is club hostess The 500 Club met last Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Wm. Eastwood. Prizes were won by Mrs. Charles Warren, Mrs. Fred Laird .and Mrs. Bill Dean. Mrs. Eastwood served tasty refreshments to those named and to Mrs. Bob Robinson, Mrs. Bart Ryan, Mrs. Dick Laird, Mrs. Wm. Morris and Mrs. Max Berry. Ladies of plan Elks for Christmas The Ladies of Elks met in regular session Tuesday evening in the Elks club rooms, with President Robin McCabe presiding. After a routine business meeting had been disposed of, final plans for the annual Christmas Banquet were made. The banquet will be held Saturday evening, Dec. 10, in the club rooms. Mrs. Robert Thomas, secretary, is asking all those who plan to attend the party to please call her for reservations not later than Friday noon. At the conclusion of the business session, several games of bridge were played, with Ruth Peart winning the high score, Naomi Cushing the cut prize and Deanna Sorensen ,the raffle.
