Show "After the dance" party enjoyed Ladies of Elks greet visitors Highlighting the Spring social season was the Spring Luncheon given by the Ladies of Elks Wednesday afternoon in the Elks club roms. Hie luncheon was served at 1:30 p.m., with representatives from Salt Lake and Provo in attendance. Hie tables were decorated in spring flowers,- and favors consisted of miniature umbrellas in shades blending in with the colors of the blossoms. President of the Salt Lake Ladies of Elks, Mrs. Estelle Dunn, and President of the Provo organization, Mrs. Barbara Ldddiard, introduced their officers and other members attending. Mrs. Lillian Buys, the only charter member of the Tin tic Ladies of Elks, now residing in Provo, was present and gave a short talk. She was given a royal welcome by the Eureka ladies. Some very lovely door prizes were given away and the afternoon was pronounced an outstanding success. Mrs. Margaret Hannifin returned home last week after spending the winter months in Salt Lake with Mrs. Ethel Briggs. Hie Girls Day Dance was held Friday evening in the high school auditorium and as is the custom on that day, the students go to the various homes for refreshments, to climax a day of entertainment in connection with T Day festivities.
