Mrs. C. G. Hogan and her daughter Ro Mae visited in Salt Lake City during the Fourth of July holidays. They were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marcroft, the latter being a sister of Mrs. Hogan. Rex D. Wirthlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wirthlin and Miss Louise Whimpey of but formerly of Eureka, San-taqui- n, were joined in marriage at Provo. Both bride and groom were popular and well known in Eureka and other localities. Mr. and Mrs. S. F. (Tad) Robertson and little daughter returned to their home in Salt Lake after an enjoyable visit in Eureka with Dr. and Mrs. Steele Bailey. They were former residents of Eureka. Mrs. George Paxman pioneer resident of Eureka who for several years had been making her home in Stockton, California, was in Tintic for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. William Du-mof Tintic Junction. Mrs. Paxman was the grandmother of Mrs. Dumar. Mrs. C. E. Rife and son Rusty and Joyce accompained by the formers mother Mrs. Hannah Rhodes of American Fork visited with relatives at Salt Lake and Ogden At the latter place they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fowers and little daughter. Mrs. Fowers is a daughter of Mrs. Rife. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Laird and Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Newman returned to Eureka after an auto trip to the Fair at San Francisco. While away they also visited Boulder Dam and at Las Vegas they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald ar Vance.
